Ryn didn't spend a minute in the cold room before rushing out, and Master Lysander sent him out of his sanctuary, so he spent all night walking down the mountain and reached his room early in the morning.
He had barely closed his eyes when the bell rang, and he had to get ready for class.
Now, inside the class of Master Ying, he was sleeping, trying to forget the trouble he had gone through all night long.
His legs and arms felt heavy, and he felt as if he was going to die because the sanctuary was farther than he had expected.
"Ryn," someone gently called his name and nudged him on the shoulder.
"Let me sleep," he muttered, turning his head away from whoever was calling him.
Someone touched him again, and he slapped their hand away.
