"Why were you sleeping in class?" The question came from Mira, who sat in front of Ryn for lunch.
He had been trying to avoid the question ever since their second class ended and they went for their lunch break. Ryn had not been paying attention to her at first until Thane tapped his fingers on the table.
"What?"
Mira rolled her eyes. "You're not even eating your food now, nor are you paying attention to what I'm saying."
"I…" Ryn tried to say something, but his words came out as a yawn. He stretched and grabbed his spoon. "I had a crazy night." Yes, a crazy night where he had to spend the entire night walking down the sanctuary because he failed his first training lesson.
"What happened?"
Ryn shook his head. "Just a crazy night," he muttered and then looked up from his food to see Thane and Mira giving him a questioning look. "Why are you both staring at me like that?" he asked.
"If anything is happening to you, then tell me, or maybe you should tell your alphas."
