The betrayal was evident in Kael's face when he shouted for him to stop hitting Sylas. The widened eyes, the clenching of his raised fists were proof enough.
It made Ryn's heart race first, made him question why he had shouted for Kael to stop, but he couldn't bear to see Sylas getting beaten up.
He hadn't expected that Kael and Veyr would come to the tower, and he was shocked when he saw Kael rushing out to hit Sylas's face.
This was all his fault, he thought. Everything that is happening was all because of him.
"Please stop," he begged again.
Kael scoffed and lowered his hand. He stood up from Sylas's body and then he kicked him in the stomach. "I do not care because this idiot deserves the worst!" he yelled and rushed to attack him again, but Veyr grabbed his hand and pulled him back, then he blocked him. "Let me go! He broke the rules! And he is not even saying anything!"
