Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Filling in Saitama’s Weaknesses

Warrior Saint Academy.

This was the school that had accepted Vincent Fox.

Despite its imposing name, this school was actually just a privately-run, third-rate university, named as a deliberate imitation of the famous War God Academy.

Staring at the acceptance letter from Warrior Saint Academy, Vincent fell deep into thought.

For the current Vincent, going to university seemed rather insignificant.

He possessed Saitama's unmatched physique. Given just three years, he'd be invincible in this world.

But even Saitama had his limitations.

For example, he couldn't fly.

Yes, Saitama could leap from the moon straight back to Earth, but that was merely due to his insane physical strength granting him extraordinary jumping power not true flight.

Furthermore, Saitama couldn't breathe in outer space…

What would happen if Vincent ever found himself stranded in a vacuum or similar environment?

Vincent knew he had to fix this weakness.

The ideal solution would be acquiring the ability to fly or teleport from another Forbidden Zone…

Hence, Vincent made his decision: attending this university was necessary!

Because most Forbidden Zones across the globe were classified as state secrets, information about them wasn't accessible online.

It was blocked!

Only university students had clearance to access these confidential resources.

If Vincent wanted to explore these Forbidden Zones, he had to attend a university.

Moreover, certain Forbidden Zones were under military surveillance, and only students were allowed entry.

Vincent understood this clearly the nation wanted to keep all potential powerhouses under strict monitoring.

'In this world, ordinary private colleges have outrageous tuition fees. Even a subpar school like Warrior Saint Academy charges around fifty or sixty thousand dollars a year!'

Thinking of this, Vincent furrowed his brow.

The savings left behind by his body's deceased parents were nearly depleted. He currently had only a few thousand dollars to his name not nearly enough for even a semester's tuition.

The immediate problem Vincent faced was money.

Besides, university classes started in two months.

Gathering that much money in two months would be daunting for an average high school graduate.

However, Vincent was a transmigrator. He had a few ideas for making money quickly, but all required significant time and energy, cutting into his vital daily training.

Therefore, the easiest solution he could think of was selling the apartment he was currently living in.

It was just an apartment, after all.

He could always get another after he became invincible!

Having made up his mind, Vincent took immediate action.

Early the next morning, at eight sharp, Vincent went to a real estate agency and officially listed his apartment for sale at a price below market value.

His only condition was that the buyer had to pay in full, upfront.

Loans involved bank approvals, which took too long. Vincent didn't have the time to wait.

Two weeks later, the apartment sold for 950,000 yuan.

This money was more than enough to cover Vincent's university tuition and living expenses…

Two months later, the new academic year began.

Outside the gates of Warrior Saint Academy, numerous new students bustled back and forth, occasionally glancing at the school's rather grandiose nameplate.

Standing among the crowd, a young man with a travel bag stood still, staring thoughtfully at the school's entrance.

This was naturally Vincent Fox.

Compared to two months ago, Vincent had visibly changed, particularly in his physical appearance.

His body was now well-toned and muscular, not bulky but lean and athletic. Fully clothed, he actually looked rather slender.

His facial features had also sharpened, losing their previous youthful softness, and becoming more handsome and defined.

However, Vincent's hair was noticeably thinner than before…

But the biggest change was in his eyes deep, confident, and sharp the gaze of a powerhouse.

Naturally, this was a benefit of the Saitama physique.

After two months of relentless training, Vincent's four main physical attributes except for mental strength had skyrocketed, each nearing a value of 200.

He was now twenty times stronger than an ordinary person!

In terms of strength, Vincent could confidently claim the title of a true "elite."

"Wasn't this supposed to be a third-rate university? How come there are so many new students?"

Vincent was slightly puzzled as he observed the bustling campus.

Just then, a cheerful, approachable girl with an ordinary appearance approached him.

"Hey, are you here for registration?" she asked brightly.

When Vincent nodded, the girl smiled warmly, "I'm a sophomore. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me!"

With her help, Vincent quickly and smoothly completed his registration.

"Alright, registration's done. I'll take you to the dormitory," she offered.

"Thanks, senior," Vincent replied politely.

"Don't mention it!" she laughed cheerfully.

On the way to the dormitory, Vincent asked out of curiosity, "Senior, our university seems to have enrolled quite a few students this year."

She explained, "That's because a lot of people failed to resonate with heroes in the Hero Sanctuary, but they still refuse to accept a lifetime as ordinary people. So, they come to our university to try their luck in other Forbidden Zones."

"What? Even if you fail the hero resonance, you can still enter other Forbidden Zones?" Vincent was genuinely surprised.

"Of course," the senior replied, smiling gently. "It's just that people without hero talents face greater dangers inside Forbidden Zones."

She paused and gave him a knowing look. "Let me guess: Your high school teacher probably told you that failing the resonance meant you'd be ordinary for life?"

Vincent nodded silently.

She chuckled softly. "They say that to pressure students. Though technically, they're not wrong either. Without hero talents, ordinary people have much lower odds of survival or success in Forbidden Zones. Some even lose their lives."

Her expression gradually dimmed as she finished speaking.

Clearly, she herself was one of those ordinary students who refused to accept mediocrity, attending Warrior Saint Academy in hopes of changing her fate…
