I stirred awake to the sound of hushed voices as sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains. I blinked, my muscles aching from the night before.
A soft voice echoed from somewhere. "Careful, you'll wake her."
"She's already stirring, Damien," Xavier replied teasingly. "It seems our little goddess here can't resist us for long."
"Or... she's pretending to be asleep so she doesn't have to hear you talk, Beta Xavier," Magnus added.
After a moment, I let out a soft groan and finally turned my head to look at them. My wild, three fiercely protective, and maddeningly attractive mates were seated around me on the bed.
Damien's piercing eyes softened when they met mine. He brushed a strand of hair away from my face, which instantly made my heart flutter. Xavier grinned wickedly, running a hand through his tousled hair as though he'd just rolled out of a dream. Magnus, meanwhile, watched me with a smirk that tugged at the corner of his rugged face.
