Chapter 164 - Chapter 164: Trying to Trick You

Vegeta trained hard in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, spending every waking moment practicing except for sleeping and eating. After several days straight, he'd give his body a rest, take a relaxing bath, then throw himself back into intense training.

This kind of boring, monotonous routine—only Vegeta could endure it alone.

His perseverance and aloofness allowed him to embrace solitude and even enjoy the environment of solo combat.

Meanwhile, Goku outside the Lookout was also struggling—but struggling at the dinner table. He gorged himself on food, wolfing it down while checking the time and complaining about the Lookout's cuisine.

Mr. Popo and Kami stood watching Goku feast, sweat streaming down their foreheads. How could Saiyans eat so much?

Most frightening was when Goku said, "This is enough to get me eighty percent full."

"Eighty percent..." Mr. Popo's mouth trembled. Normal people aren't as full when they're completely stuffed!

Though Kami didn't say a word, his thoughts matched Mr. Popo's exactly. He couldn't help remembering when young Goku had trained at the Lookout—he'd looked like he wanted to eat everything. The memory still gave him chills.

Suddenly, the "clang clang clang" sound of scraping plates stopped abruptly. Goku looked up toward a higher place, food remnants at the corner of his mouth.

He frowned, then suddenly his eyes lit up brightly.

"There's a ki approaching!"

"Indeed." Kami also sensed the alien approaching at high speed.

"It's Nappa!"

Goku recognized the energy's owner, his brow relaxing.

"Nappa—that Saiyan."

"That's right. I heard from my brother that Nappa went traveling recently."

Nappa was back! After traveling for a while, he'd returned to Earth again.

At this time, Raditz was still practicing the Mafuba at Kame House. An electric rice cooker sat on the ground as swirling water was directed into it again and again.

"Huh... much more stable. Let's do it again!" Raditz took a long breath, wiped sweat from his cheeks, and prepared.

Seeing Raditz work hard for so long, Zangya worried: "Take a break—it's time to eat."

"No, I'm not tired yet. I'm getting the feel for it now. Let me practice a bit more."

Raditz smiled at Zangya, turned his head, and continued focusing on the waves. His hands had practiced countless times and were now extremely proficient.

As he raised his hand slightly, energy condensed in his palm. Water flew from the sea surface, swirling at tremendous speed to form a circular pattern—several times stronger than Master Roshi's aura.

After spinning for several cycles, Raditz directed the water toward the sky, then pinpointed the rice cooker's position on the ground and swung his hands down. Like a waterfall plunging straight down, the brilliant silver water curtain poured into the pot at high speed with a burst of noise.

"SNAP!" The rice cooker was immediately covered after filling with water, blocking the exit.

So far, the Mafuba was basically complete—only the final step of applying the special talisman remained.

When dealing with Zamasu, it was because Goku carelessly grabbed the wrong talisman that Zamasu escaped. Learning from that mistake, Raditz didn't dare be careless. He'd asked Master Roshi to prepare many spare talismans and kept them carefully.

"Success! Controlling the final landing point really is the most difficult part. Master that, and you're set." Raditz muttered to himself. "But the feeling with water flow is different from people after all—I need to find someone to test it on."

As soon as he said this, a familiar ki signature appeared in Raditz's perception.

Nappa!

He was back?

Not only Raditz, but Zangya beside him, plus Krillin and Master Roshi in the house were slightly startled, sensing the aura Nappa wasn't bothering to suppress.

The proud Nappa paid no attention to restraining his ki, returning leisurely in a large, disc-shaped spaceship like a winner in life.

He parked the spaceship in wilderness not far from Kame House and brought Ariel out.

"Look, Ariel—this is the Earth I told you about. It not only has beautiful scenery but delicious food too." Nappa could only use superficial, direct descriptions with very simple vocabulary.

Such thin descriptions were unlikely to spark others' interest, but Ariel smiled brilliantly and responded with a clear voice: "It really is a wonderful planet!"

She lightly brushed her long aqua-blue hair and walked forward in silver high-heeled boots, her plain pleated skirt fluttering like waves.

Nappa smiled foolishly. Ariel also pursed her lips in a smile and winked at Nappa—perhaps what she admired was his simple character.

Their first stop was Kame House. The small island was perfect for vacation and sightseeing. Nappa had once enjoyed the sea view in this area and felt it was ideal as a starting point for his and Ariel's Earth tour.

Flying to Kame House, Nappa wanted to give introductions but was suddenly stunned.

He hadn't expected Raditz to be there!

Excited for a moment, he hadn't noticed Raditz's presence and felt a bit shy seeing him.

"Ra-Raditz, you're here?"

"What? Don't you want to see me when you come back!" Raditz scolded with a smile.

Seeing Nappa's unprecedented shyness, Raditz almost burst out laughing.

Nappa was speechless after Raditz said this. Ariel held Nappa's hand: "Who is that?"

Back in the Phaeda Galaxy, Ariel had never seen Raditz and was very surprised to see another Saiyan with a tail.

Nappa lowered his voice: "He's the Raditz I mentioned."

"Ah! He's that long-haired pervert!" Ariel exclaimed.

She couldn't control her voice and suddenly yelled, which was heard throughout Kame House.

Everyone was stunned for a moment, then burst into laughter.

"Long-haired pervert... hahaha..." Even Zangya couldn't help laughing.

With veins bulging on his forehead, Raditz walked toward Nappa with a half-smile.

Now that Nappa was back, let's test the technique on him! Raditz suddenly thought.

"Nappa, to welcome you back, I've specially prepared a performance."

"Per-performance?" Nappa and Ariel frowned simultaneously.

"Miss Ariel, please step aside." Raditz waved his hand to separate Ariel with a psychic barrier, then brought his hands together, drawing Nappa into the Mafuba's vortex with lightning speed!

"Nappa, you're lucky—let me show you my new technique!"

"Whoa whoa whoa whoa... I was—wrong—" Nappa's voice stretched out as his figure seemed to spin in circles and extend several meters.

The feeling of sealing people was indeed different from water, but under Raditz's precise control, it wasn't too difficult to adjust.

"I really—was—wrong—"

"Too late! You dare speak ill of me—what 'long-haired pervert'? I'm called a genius!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Raditz waved his hand down and put Nappa into the rice cooker.

With a "CLICK," the lid snapped shut and Nappa's voice disappeared without a trace.
