It's not just them. Every other couple in the audience who want to rise and are filling the dance floor with me and Desmond in the middle of it all. Probably why no one witnessed Calvin and Briana's mini interruption.
They gracefully dance into the crowds, ignoring the way they bumped into me and Desmond as they disappear from the scene. I look up at Desmond.
"Tell me you saw that too or I'll think I'm high." From our kiss.
"I did," Desmond strokes my back right where Calvin bumped, glaring at his brother. "He's so childish."
"That makes the two of them," I reply, letting him swerve me to the side as we carry on with our dance.
Once we have calmed down from the interruption however, the realization of what just happened overpowers me, shifting the mood in an instant. Desmond must notice it because he lowers his head to my face again, with a slightly serious expression on his face.
