"I'd burn this entire world to the ground just to be with Leilani. And if bloodlines, or family stand in my way... I'll burn them too. Ooooh, you had me shivering there my guy, I almost fell in love with you right then you know? I had goosebumps crawling all over my body at the chills you gave me!"
Ever since we drove out of their garage, Leilani hasn't stopped praising my acting skills in front of her Dad. She even went as far as hugging me and kissing my cheek once we entered the car, leaving a mark of her lipstick on me that I had to fight her hard so she wouldn't rub it off my face.
I've been smiling like an idiot from her house to my grandma's where I asked everyone to gather. I think I'll develop dimples at this point.
"Oh, I forgot the part when you had my Dad smiling. I've never seen him smiling in like forever."
I chuckle, driving past the security to my Grandma's skyscraper where her penthouse is placed atop the building.
