I've done it. I finally said what's been on my mind all this time. It's not really a confession, but with the way I sounded, I'm sure anyone would be able to see through me and know exactly what I mean behind the words.
"Whoa there Shakespeare, save the lovely lines for our wedding day," Leilani laughs, dramatically fanning herself and breaking eye contact.

I want to believe the reason she looks so flustered is because of what I said, or the way she's blushing is because my words managed to tickle her heart somehow, but I know her well enough not to rush into conclusions. She did after all avoid answering my question on whether she's forgiven me, leaving me with the dilemma of whether or not I'm still in her enemy radar. Hopefully, I'll get the answer before we get married. I can't bear the thought of her ignoring me when we start living together soon.
