Kimi stood frozen, staring at Kolton in disbelief. He noticed her shocked expression and reached out, his fingers wrapping around her wrist as he pulled her toward him.
She struggled to break free from his grip, but he had already lifted his motorcycle helmet and placed it firmly on her head.
"There's only one helmet, so you'll have to wear mine."
Kimi's hands flew up to remove the helmet immediately. She thrust it back at him and took several steps backward.
"Are you insane? I don't want your helmet."
Kolton's eyes narrowed at her rejection. Without warning, he grabbed the helmet and hurled it to the pavement behind his bike.
The sound of the helmet hitting the concrete made Kimi gasp audibly.
"What is wrong with you?"
Kolton's shoulders lifted in a casual shrug, his expression completely unbothered.
"You rejected it, so I got rid of it."
Kimi became acutely aware of the curious stares from passersby. She stepped closer to Kolton, lowering her voice to an urgent whisper.
