After returning to my room I started to get ready to go watch the Alpha's compete to determine the strongest amongst them. Considering things today were more relaxed I opted to just wear a red tank top, jean shorts, and Nikes. Applying a natural makeup and pulling my hair in a messy bun I was ready to go. Jaxon has already loaded up the jeep so we could leave directly after the games. He was waiting for me nearby as I walked out of my room. Walking towards me Jax questioned" Do you know how long the games last?" " I have no idea Jaxon." I answered. The games were set up at the training field, but it looked more like an arena. We took our places on the bleachers, there were Luna's and ranked members of the other packs, plus quite a few of Red Moon packs members. As we were talking Ryder ran up the bleachers, kneeling in front of me "Tess Id like to talk to you before you leave." " Of course Alpha Ryder." I replied grinning.
" Just Ryder." he said taking my hand kissing it, he gets up winks then runs back down to the field. I felt myself slightly blush, then Jax joked " So your new boyfriend likes showing pda." I just glared at him looking around to see if anyone was listening " Shut up Gamma." He just laughed. The countdown to games began and The Alpha's took their places, over the course of 6 hours we were down to two Alpha's left, Ryder and Alpha Levi of the Blue River Pack. The last game was a fight until one Alpha submits to another. " I think your boyfriend got this." Jaxon said a little too loudly. "Please just stop." I blurted out. " Besides one night doesn't mean anything Jax, if anyone knows that it should be you with your countless one night stands." I said teasingly. " Oh you wound me." Jaxon replied. During our banter the fight began, they were going blow to blow, until Ryder nearly knocked Alpha Levi unconscious, Levi transitioned into his large brown wolf and started his attack on Ryder. I grabbed Jaxon's arm nervously watching this play out, Ryder then transitioned into a beautiful large white wolf with piercing blue eyes. The two wolves collided and fought each other, their moves skilled and calculated, after what seemed like forever Alpha Levi transitioned into his human form and submitted. Ryder was the undisputed winner, being named the strongest Alpha in the country, the crowd went crazy cheering and chanting his name. After things settled and the crowd started thinning out I let Jax know I was going to speak to Ryder. I walked into what would be like a locker room area, I saw Ryder talking to his Beta almost as soon as I walked in. Chase noticed me walking towards them and dismissed himself he gave me a huge knowing smile as he walked away. " Tess I'm glad you came to see me." Ryder exhaled sharply. " Well you did say you wanted to talk before I take my leave." " I smiled awkwardly. " It's about you leaving, where does that leave us? Wow I sound like a school boy." he said shaking his head. I couldn't help but stare at the Adonis standing in front of me.He stood there in nothing but a towel, he must have quickly showered after the games, the towel was dangerously hanging low you know right below that perfect v. " I can smell your arousal Tess, my eyes are up here." he smirked pointing at his face. " Sorry." I apologized grabbing his wrist and pulling him closer to me. Am I honestly trying to get a quickie before I leave, what has gotten into me? I throw my arm around his neck and step on my tip toes to take hold of his lips. We kiss each other like our lives depend on it, he lifts me and backs me up against the wall. I feel total bliss until I hear her " Oh my Goddess Ryder you won, I'm so sorry I missed it." I immediately stopped kissing him and looked over his shoulder to see the tall beautiful redhead, with bright blue eyes looking udderly confused. I unwrapped myself from the Alpha, " Sorry I have to go." I quickly stepped away from him and did not make eye contact with his mate. I am so stupid, I should not have let things get out of hand. Now I'm no better than Jenna, I feel nauseous as I get into the jeep. Before Jax could question me, I firmly stated " Let's go home." I closed my eyes and silently cried to myself.
