I was summoned to help welcome the Alpha's, Luna's, and other ranked members of the different packs, who were going to be witnessing the Luna Ceremony. Tomorrow Jenna will be announced as Luna, she'll make her vows to Chris and the pack, then later that evening they'll mark each other. In the werewolf community they'll be seen as husband and wife. While I'm still bonded to this asshole, I can't wait to feel the pain of him marking her. Walking downstairs to go outside, Alyson quickly shuffles my way. She's smiling " So is it true? Did you have sex with Alpha Ryder?" "Well hello Alyse, I missed you too." I retorted. " Hello, love you, missed you. So now that the pleasantries are out of the way, did you screw another Alpha." she asked trying to hold in a giggle. " I don't see why it's important, but yes I did, and I enjoyed it. Any other questions?" I rolled my eyes. " Nope just happy Chris felt you have to bear." she stated with an evil laugh. As we strolled to the front of the pack house, we were gossiping and snickering. I took my place between Chris and my brother, waiting for the parade of visitors. I have met most of the Alpha's at the summit, they all had words of encouragement for me, it felt nice to be noticed as a formidable leader. An older man stood in front of me, " You must be the mate?" he spewed with disdain. "Why yes, I'm the lucky woman." I responded with sarcasm. " I'm Bentley Mueller, Jenna's father, I hope you realize after tomorrow night she will be your Luna." He glared down at me. " How could I ever forget she reminds me constantly, and if she doesn't the betrayal pains sure do." I spat at him. He went to open his mouth again, I held my hand up to stop him " I don't need advice from a man who bought his daughter's position, you saw a desperate young wolf and took advantage of the situation. You all got what you wanted, so you can kindly keep your comments to yourself." He grabbed onto my wrist and I heard four loud growls. Chris held up his hands " Sorry it's the mate bond thing." " Don't you ever touch my sister!" Damien hissed. " I'm her Gamma, I choose to protect the rightful Luna of this pack!" Jax grated out. Walking into view I see Chase " I'm Beta Chase Martin of the Red Moon Pack, I have orders to make sure no one fucks with her." He shrugged with a cocky smile. I stood there bewildered I have three strong males ready to attack this man, and the fourth man claims his possessiveness is only because of the bond, thank you for this gift of a man Moon Goddess. " Chase my man!" Jax declared pulling Chase into a man hug. It was then I noticed her, the beautiful redhead, I immediately put my head down ashamed. Chase and his small entourage made their way to me " Tessa it's good to see you again." he gave me a genuine smile. " Beta Chase welcome to the Silvermyst Pack." I shook his hand. " Just Chase please, Tess I hope you remember Delta Wyatt, and this is Priscilla Nelson, Alpha Ryder's sister." he gave a sly wink. "Of course I remember the Delta, wait what? Sister?" I questioned. " Yes, I'm his younger sister. I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you while you were in our territory. But, we have time to get to know each other while we're here." she spoke gently. "Yes, I would love that." I answered her. After our introduction I felt the weight of my burdens lift. His sister, thank you Moon Goddess.
