Colton's POV
"Repeat what you just said."
I clenched my fists as I glanced at the man in front of me. He must have a lot of nerve coming back here and spewing this nonsense!
"You can't just send me away. This is my pack, my home!" Axel didn't look at all scared.
I scoffed. He was still lounging around the house after I had told him that I didn't want to see him.
"I have every reason and right to tell you to leave, and I am telling you right now to leave!"
"It doesn't work that way. What happened was a…"
L growled within me, trying to claw to the surface and, according to him, finish off what I couldn't.
Let me handle this, I said to him, pushing him back, knowing that whatever L would do came with consequences.
I narrowed my eyes at him. "Do you know why you're still breathing, Axel?" I stood up and walked slowly to his back.
He sat, but I could feel the fear radiating off him. He didn't answer my question.
