"This mutant is so handsome! He can even shoot fire from his hands!"
"I think that car shooting spider silk is pretty cool too!"
"Wait, is that turtle a spirit, or are these just two guys in cosplay?"
"Who would've thought a priest could box? Every resident of Hell's Kitchen is a hidden powerhouse!"
"Honestly, there's always something unbelievable happening in Hell's Kitchen. I wouldn't even be surprised if a magician popped up next!"
"Magic? In this world? You're kidding, right? Hell's Kitchen hasn't been like this for years. Why has it suddenly become such a powerhouse?"
"I heard it's because Alex Ray took over Hell's Kitchen. Don't you know what this place used to be like?"
"Today's Hell's Kitchen really makes you feel safe and right at home. Sure, the people here have short tempers, but they're fiercely protective. Honestly, I kinda want to move in just to experience the atmosphere."
"Earth's becoming harder and harder to predict. Superpowered people keep popping up—I wouldn't even blink if aliens invaded tomorrow."
"Hey, hey, hey! Are you serious? You're calling Hell's Kitchen a good place? It's supposed to be filled with crime and chaos! How can you think that?"
"Exactly! If you think Hell's Kitchen is a good place, you must be out of your mind!"
The crowd watched as Pyro and the others battled Abomination. They had expected a hard-fought match, but it turned out that Pyro's team was gaining the upper hand, much to everyone's surprise.
Abomination stood in the middle of the battlefield, puzzled by the reactions around him.
He had expected fear—panic, screams, chaos. But instead, these people looked thrilled, like they were watching some sort of spectacle.
Something wasn't right.
There was a guy spewing flames, a car that fired webs like Spider-Man, someone glowing gold, and even a turtle that looked more human than anything else.
Was this still Earth?
It had to be. He'd only flown a short distance to get here.
But clearly, this part of the world was hiding monsters of its own—and worse, none of them had to be as hideously transformed as him to be so powerful.
"RAAHHHHHH!!!"
Abomination roared, shaking the ground beneath him. His strength surged. Speed and power heightened. His very presence grew more terrifying.
He blitzed across the battlefield and appeared right in front of Pyro in the blink of an eye. The young mutant didn't even have time to react.
Pyro's eyes widened in alarm.
He tried to dodge, but it was far too late.
BANG! Abomination's punch smashed Pyro into a concrete wall with brutal force.
The wall trembled from the impact, and Pyro crumpled to the ground, groaning in pain before losing consciousness.
Magneto, watching from a distance, narrowed his eyes. A flash of cold light shimmered within them.
"St. John really embarrassed us mutants," he said icily. "First one down. Pathetic."
His tone was sharp, cutting, filled with disappointment.
Professor X, on the other hand, smiled faintly. He looked at Pyro with genuine approval.
"I think John has come a long way. His flames are much stronger than before. More importantly, he chose to face that monster head-on. That speaks volumes about his sense of justice. Don't be too harsh, my friend."
Magneto said nothing more, but inwardly decided that Pyro needed better training—perhaps under Alex Ray. Compared to Pyro, Alex was superior in both close combat and physical ability.
Meanwhile, Abomination had already shifted his attention to another opponent—the man dressed like a priest: Knuckle.
To Abomination, Knuckle was the real threat.
Earlier, every punch that came from this guy had hurt. A lot. The bulk of the damage he'd taken came from him.
Now, the Guardian of the Sun, Knuckle, watched Abomination approach with no trace of fear.
There was no way he'd let this monster bring ruin to Hell's Kitchen.
Without hesitation, Knuckle removed his priest's robes, revealing a solidly built physique and muscular arms. He raised his fists in a boxer's stance, eyes burning with resolve.
"Let me show you what true power looks like!" Knuckle shouted, his voice filled with strength and conviction.
As he spoke, his fists burst with radiant, sun-like energy—dazzling and searing, as though capable of melting steel.
When their fists collided, an explosive burst of energy erupted between them.
The shockwave hit with hurricane force, flinging Peter Parker and the two Ninja Turtles into the air like rag dolls.
The Ninja Turtles tumbled several times before crashing into the ground.
Peter Parker—still in car form—had his fuel tank burst open mid-air. Oil leaked everywhere as the car lost power, systems shutting down.
Knuckle and Abomination exchanged ferocious blows.
Knuckle staggered back seven steps.
Abomination only five.
Knuckle's eyes narrowed. He knew this green beast was stronger than him.
If he was going to win, he needed to rely on more than brute force.
Thankfully, he had something else—boxing technique.
Abomination grunted. This pest was more resilient than he looked.
That couldn't be possible!
Fueled by rage, Abomination lunged again, fists swinging. The two locked in close-quarters combat, punches flying with bone-shattering force.
Time dragged on.
Knuckle's solar flames started to dim.
His chest tightened.
He was nearly out of energy.
"Damn… three minutes are up," he muttered. He'd only recently mastered the Death Flame—and right now, he could barely maintain it for a boxing round.
Just as despair threatened to set in, a familiar voice rang out behind him.
"Leave the rest to me. No—leave it to us. Right, Hulk?"
