Looking at the middle-aged man with glasses—Dr. Bruce Banner—slowly walking toward Abomination, the towering beast couldn't help but fall into deep thought.
"Is he walking to his death?" Abomination was full of doubt. The human in front of him clearly lacked the strength to compete, yet he approached with unwavering resolve. That alone made Abomination uneasy.
"I know that guy—that's Dr. Banner." The live broadcast chatroom lit up with discussions. "What the hell is he doing? Doesn't he understand how dangerous Abomination is? Or… is there some unknown connection between the two of them?"
"Wait, could that monster actually be one of Banner's creations?" someone speculated boldly, only to be immediately shot down: "Impossible. Dr. Banner is a scientist. He would never create something like that."
"Mr. Alex Ray, go help him!" another viewer begged through the stream. "Don't let Dr. Banner die! He's a genius—seven PhDs!"
"Seven?!" someone gasped. "How does someone like that end up in a hellhole like Hell's Kitchen?"
"He should be teaching at MIT or Stanford! Why is he hanging around a place like this?"
"Maybe he bought those degrees," one skeptic scoffed. "No way a real genius would stay here."
But none of their chatter mattered. Dr. Banner continued forward, each step firm, unflinching. There was no fear in his eyes—only calm and resolve.
Abomination glared at him, rage beginning to simmer. He felt irritated—this little bug, this fragile thing—why did it make him nervous? That unfamiliar sensation stoked the flames of his fury. He wanted to crush it. Immediately.
Just as Abomination raised his massive fist to obliterate Banner, he felt it—an energy ripple.
A strange, terrifying wave of power radiated from the man before him.
His instincts screamed in warning.
Still, his hatred surged. Muscles like steel cords tensed across his arms. His massive hand curled into a fist, murderous intent gleaming in his eyes. He wanted to end this—crush that irritating speck and move on.
"Run!" someone cried in the crowd, and the scream was quickly followed by a chorus of terrified shouts. "Watch out!" Even the stream chat exploded. Some viewers couldn't bear to look—closing their eyes, afraid to witness the carnage.
They were certain Banner would be reduced to a bloodstained smear.
But Banner didn't flinch.
As the monstrous fist closed in, he calmly removed his glasses—like he was preparing for a nap, not a battle.
"I'll leave it to you, Hulk," he whispered. "I know you've been dying to come out."
With those quiet words, his body began to transform. His frame swelled, stretched, surged with impossible power. Clothes shredded into tatters. Beneath them, massive green muscles exploded into view.
A thick, emerald-skinned arm shot up and caught Abomination's punch—stopping it cold, as immovable as a mountain.
Abomination recoiled in shock. The puny human had become a titan—no, a force of nature. A green giant who now towered over him.
"This is impossible!" Abomination roared, his voice thick with disbelief. "How?!"
"HULK!!!!!!!"
The roar shook the sky, echoing like thunder across Hell's Kitchen. It made the ground quake. Hulk's eyes glowed like molten emeralds, pure rage radiating from his every pore.
With both hands, he grabbed Abomination's arms—and hurled him across the sky like a human discus.
The brute flew in a high arc before crashing down hard with a resounding boom, sending tremors across the street.
The crowd watching through the live broadcast was utterly stunned.
"He—he turned into that thing?!"
"So that green monster's actually a person?!"
"I KNEW IT! There are no ordinary people in Hell's Kitchen!"
Abomination staggered to his feet, groaning. Each footstep cracked the pavement, his bulk threatening to sink into the street. He looked like a crumbling skyscraper trying to stand upright.
His eyes burned with rage—raw, molten fury aimed at the green goliath standing before him. Everything around him—ruins, fleeing civilians—felt that crushing pressure. It was like being trapped beneath a falling mountain.
Then he roared again, louder than before. The shockwave cracked windows for blocks.
Hulk stood his ground. His body tensed like a drawn bow. Sunlight struck his bulging muscles, casting jagged shadows across his jade-green form. His stare was cold. Animal. Calculating.
Suddenly, Abomination lunged with shocking speed, swinging a boulder-sized fist.
Hulk didn't retreat.
He launched himself forward and smashed his own fist into Abomination's, meeting it head-on.
The impact made the earth quake. Glass shattered across buildings. Cracks split the road beneath them. Debris blasted into the air. Each collision was a nuclear event.
It was chaos.
Hell's Kitchen had become a battlefield.
In the chaos, it quickly became clear—Hulk had the upper hand.
Each of his blows forced Abomination backward, step by thundering step. He never tired, never slowed. His rage was his fuel, and it burned endlessly.
Abomination was strong—but compared to Hulk, he was outmatched.
Eventually, under the relentless barrage of green fury, Abomination faltered. His movements slowed. His steps became unsteady. Finally, after one crushing slam that shook the entire block, he collapsed—unconscious, defeated.
Hell's Kitchen fell into eerie silence.
Only Hulk remained standing.
The giant stared down at his fallen enemy. Then he tilted back his head and let loose another deafening roar:
"HULK!!!!!"
It was a declaration.
There's a difference between monsters.
The livestream chat was losing its mind again.
"HELL'S KITCHEN IS ACTUALLY A WARZONE!"
"I knew this race would be wild, but this?!"
Meanwhile, somewhere on the battlefield—amid shattered asphalt and upturned cars—Pietro Maximoff was silently closing in on the finish line.
