Chapter 264 - Chapter 264 : What!? The car can actually spit out spider silk!

"It's unbelievable! I already thought the residents of Hell's Kitchen were tough, but I didn't expect them to be this tough!" one spectator gaped at the live broadcast, stunned. On screen, the Hell's Kitchen residents were wielding heavy weaponry, launching a ferocious assault against the Abomination—who looked like a twisted version of the Hulk.

Their expressions brimmed with grim determination and raw ferocity, like they were hellbent on taking the monster down no matter what.

"I used to think those stories about Hell's Kitchen fighting back against the military were exaggerated. But now? These people are fearless!" another viewer exclaimed.

He watched the locals clenching cigarette butts between their teeth as they hauled machine guns and opened fire with gleeful madness. Their manic faces seemed to revel in the carnage like it was some twisted celebration.

"Honestly, I can't even tell who the real villain is anymore. These Hell's Kitchen guys, they act like final bosses!" someone else said, half in awe, half terrified.

Watching the chaos unfold, a pang of sympathy crept into the hearts of a few viewers—for the Abomination, of all things. They began to feel pity for the monster being relentlessly bombarded by the war-hardened citizens.

"The reason they're so fearless is simple," said another. "They've got Alex Ray backing them—the so-called Lord of Hell. They know that as long as Alex is around, they're never really in danger."

His voice dripped with envy. It wasn't just admiration for the locals, but a gnawing curiosity and reverence for the mysterious Alex Ray—this mutant warlord-turned-kingpin of Hell's Kitchen.

But even with all their firepower, it was clear: the Abomination wasn't going down easily.

Emil Blonsky—better known as the Abomination—let out an earth-shaking roar.

Once a covert operative, his body had been forever changed after exposure to gamma radiation, transforming him into this monstrous being. Recently, he'd been captured by S.H.I.E.L.D. and imprisoned in a maximum-security blacksite.

There, he became a test subject—prodded, studied, and occasionally dragged out for more experiments.

But today, inexplicably, they'd released him.

He had been airdropped from a height of ten thousand meters. By the time he hit the ground, he was already seething with rage. Before he could even assess the situation, a small army had begun attacking him from all sides.

Despite the hellish barrage, the Abomination endured it with little more than irritation. His skin, like reinforced steel, easily withstood bullets and explosives.

It was like being pestered by gnats. These pathetic creatures actually dared to oppose him—and that made him furious.

He lunged at the attackers.

The Hell's Kitchen residents quickly dispersed, firing at him even as they fled. That only annoyed him more.

Then he noticed a car speeding directly at him. Without hesitation, he drove both fists into the pavement, attempting to rip the ground up with brute force.

But nothing happened.

Alex Ray watched from a distance, a calm smirk tugging at his lips. "You think I'd let you wreck the place? Repairs around here are expensive."

Thanks to the Home System Alex controlled, no one could easily destroy any part of Hell's Kitchen—not even a single tree.

Just then, Pietro Maximoff zoomed past the Abomination in a blur.

"Lucky!" Domino, seated beside Pietro, exhaled as their car effortlessly zipped past the raging green monster.

"But the people behind us?" she added, a sly grin playing on her lips. "They might not be so lucky."

Domino's powers activated.

Despite common belief, Domino's abilities weren't just about "luck." She manipulated probabilities—but it required intent and line of sight. If she wanted to hit a target and they were within her view, her chances would spike. Likewise, if someone aimed at her and she knew it, the odds of them missing drastically increased.

She wasn't just thinking of luck—she was bending reality's rules in her favor.

Right now, she had one thought: Let the Abomination attack the next vehicle.

Sure enough, as her powers took hold, Abomination became even more frenzied. It was as if some unseen force pulled his strings tighter, amplifying his rage to volcanic levels. He howled, his eyes glowing with furious red light, his body trembling with pure aggression.

Another car sped toward him. He scowled, confused. Why wouldn't the pavement break? Why did everything feel so unnaturally reinforced?

He couldn't waste time figuring it out. He let out another roar and charged headlong toward the approaching vehicle.

The car belonged to Takumi Fujiwara and his terrified co-driver, Itsuki Takeuchi.

Amu—still going by "Ashu" in some race listings—saw the green giant sprinting toward them and screamed, "Turn back! Takumi, I'm still a virgin! I don't wanna die!" Then he fainted from sheer terror.

Takumi, while nervous, was also wired with adrenaline. This was the most intense race he'd ever participated in, and he wasn't about to back down.

Hands gripping the wheel, eyes focused, he waited until the last possible moment—then yanked the emergency brake, executing a perfect drift that skirted right past Abomination's rampaging path.

Tires screeched. The AE86 rocketed forward.

Takumi had made it.

"YEAH!" he screamed. "King of the mountain, baby!"

Abomination was livid. That puny insect had actually evaded him.

Just as he prepared to give chase, the sound of another engine behind him caught his attention. Another racer approached—while the Hell's Kitchen locals continued to harass him like a swarm of mosquitoes.

Enraged beyond reason, he turned his fury toward the civilians again.

But every time he tried to crush them, a dark mist would intercept, whisking them to safety at the last second.

It was Alex Ray's Shadow Legion.

"You're not going to stop this madness?" Tony Stark turned toward Alex, clearly irritated.

"Why would I?" Alex replied with a smirk. "This is just getting fun. Besides, you're underestimating them."

As if on cue, the host's voice crackled over the broadcast, filled with astonishment.

"Wait—what?! That car just shot spider webs!"
