Alex Ray was watching the game with great interest, but a sudden shift in aura made him frown.
He looked up at the sky, his eyes narrowing in surprise. A figure was plummeting from above at a terrifying speed, like a meteor streaking across the heavens. Alex's expression turned grave, an ominous premonition welling up in his chest.
He quickly activated his Observation Haki, focusing to clearly perceive the falling object.
When the image sharpened in his mind, Alex let out a quiet gasp. It was a massive green figure—like a mountain of muscle—descending with overwhelming force and presence.
This thing looked familiar. Was it…?
Alex wondered silently—was this S.H.I.E.L.D.'s doing, or perhaps the military?
Interesting. They actually managed to drop this guy in here.
He speculated that it might be an attempt to sabotage the Hell's Kitchen Racing Finals. Dropping this creature from the sky rather than having him walk in from elsewhere clearly showed they feared Alex would stop him otherwise.
Still, Alex had no intention of interfering. He believed the contestants could handle it themselves.
This game just got a whole lot more interesting.
Alex smirked slightly. He welcomed the unexpected chaos. It would only add more suspense and thrill to the already intense competition.
He leaned toward Anna and whispered something in her ear.
Anna's face twisted slightly with confusion, but she nodded after a moment, understanding what Alex was planning.
The people around them noticed the brief exchange and cast curious glances their way. But Alex offered no explanation. He simply waited.
Their patience was rewarded soon enough. The clouds above swirled violently, warning of something fast approaching. Veterans of Hell's Kitchen—like Charles, Kingpin, and Wanda—felt the strange energy and instinctively looked skyward, alert.
Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr shared a glance, each reading suspicion and caution in the other's eyes. Magneto began to rise, but Charles subtly shook his head, signaling him to wait. Instead, he turned to Alex, hoping for answers.
Meanwhile, the audience in Hell's Kitchen and those watching the livestream were still caught up in the race's excitement. Only ten racers remained on the track. Every driver was giving their all—cars flying through the air, pulling off dazzling stunts that had the crowd roaring.
Then it happened.
A massive object hurtled down from the sky with incredible speed, crashing into the heart of Hell's Kitchen like a meteorite. The impact triggered an eruption of smoke and rubble that plunged the venue into chaos.
The audience screamed, panicked, scrambling for cover. In the livestream, frantic comments flooded the chat:
"What the hell just fell?! A meteorite??"
"We can't race like this! Everything's blocked!"
"Is this a broadcast malfunction? Or sabotage?!"
"Wait! That's not a meteor! That's a fucking MONSTER!"
As the smoke cleared, the truth emerged.
It wasn't a meteor. It was a three-meter-tall, green-skinned giant—muscles bulging, eyes gleaming with fury.
He stood in the center of the venue, unleashing a thunderous roar that threatened to flatten all of Hell's Kitchen.
The ten remaining racers were instantly aware of the new threat.
"Yo, someone just invaded Hell's Kitchen," Garfield Peter called out. "Should we do something?"
Roman, seated beside Dominic, shouted in disbelief, "Shit! How are we supposed to race with that thing stomping around?!"
The players bickered, the livestream chat exploded, and confusion spread like wildfire. That's when Alex calmly took the microphone.
"People of Hell's Kitchen, don't panic," he said. "This is a special challenge arranged for our finalists and residents. Contestants must evade this creature and still reach the finish line. And anyone who manages to take this thing down will earn a special reward."
The announcement ignited a storm of complaints from the racers. Many cursed aloud. But none of them walked away. This was Hell's Kitchen. If you were on the field, you had to play.
Besides, no one truly doubted Alex Ray's words—and none thought this green monster was a true enemy. They figured it was another one of Alex's twisted surprises.
But the monster didn't wait for introductions.
He charged forward.
Each of his steps sent tremors through the ground. His glare was murderous, and his roar promised destruction.
The livestream chat went wild.
"Wait… this isn't a prop! That thing is real!"
"Wasn't this thing involved in that last Hell's Kitchen incident?"
"It's the Hulk! Or—wait—is that the Abomination?! No tail, though!"
"I'm terrified. This can't be part of the script."
"Hell's Kitchen viewers gotta be losing it!"
But the residents of Hell's Kitchen? They were ecstatic.
"Mr. Alex really knows us!" one shouted. "We didn't get to race, so he gave us a monster to kill instead!"
"Grab your weapons!" another yelled. "Time to hunt!"
"Don't fight me for this one—the Tiger Gang claims this bastard!"
Dozens of residents sprang into action, pulling out firearms, clubs, blades—anything they could use.
The livestream chat collectively froze.
"Wait… are the citizens actually charging that thing?"
"They're insane. Are all Hell's Kitchen residents this hardcore?"
"They're treating this like a bonus level in a video game…"
Back on the battlefield, chaos and carnage ruled.
The Abomination roared, fists smashing through the remains of the racetrack. Drivers swerved, dodged debris and lunges from the massive beast as best they could.
Takumi's AE86 skid along a half-collapsed guardrail while Ashu screamed inside, "WE'RE GONNA DIE!"
Dom was shouting orders, Roman cursing nonstop.
Pyro and Iceman synchronized their powers to create obstacles between themselves and the monster.
Even the TMNT were bouncing across rubble, yelling like it was a street fight.
In the center of it all, Alex Ray watched from above, calm and entertained.
He hadn't dropped the Abomination just to cause chaos.
This was a message—to Hydra, to the Illuminati, to every hidden hand that tried to sabotage the Hell's Kitchen dream.
This race wasn't just about glory.
It was a battlefield.
And Hell's Kitchen? It belonged to Alex Ray.
