Chapter 234 - Chapter 234 : Kamen Rider Decade arrives

Alex Ray looked at Thor standing before him and couldn't help but feel helpless.

It was difficult for him to imagine that Thor—the tall, muscular Asgardian weighing over 200 kilograms—was crying like a child, tears streaming down his face.

The sight was more ridiculous than watching dinosaurs perform ballet.

Thor extended his trembling arms, seemingly looking for a comforting hug from Alex.

Without hesitation, Alex used chaos magic and froze Thor in place.

If the one reaching out was a beautiful woman, Alex might have considered it. But with a man weighing over 200 pounds, there was zero interest.

"He really is Thor, the God of Thunder... maybe this is all some misunderstanding," Alex muttered, his tone carrying fatigue and a hint of exasperation. Then he added, "Alright, stop crying. What happened to you?"

Thor didn't respond. He slumped to the ground, held his head in his hands, and muttered with a trembling voice, "My father is dead… and my mother has abandoned me." His words were soaked in grief and despair, as if the entire world had crumbled around him.

Tony Stark stood to the side, observing the scene with a deep frown.

He flexed his hands and said dryly, "Wow, this is dramatic. I didn't expect gods to have such intense family drama." His voice carried the usual touch of sarcasm.

"I'd love to hear more about your soap opera, but I think we've got more pressing matters," Tony added, his attention shifting toward their surroundings.

Agents had begun surrounding them.

Leading the pack was none other than Crossbones—an old foe.

"I've been waiting for this, Alex Ray!" Crossbones declared arrogantly. He was clearly ready to settle the score.

Alex didn't seem the least bit threatened by the encirclement. He still had a portal ready to take him back at any moment.

"Let's talk about this back home. Come on, Thor." Alex turned to Thor, gesturing calmly.

But Thor didn't move. Instead, his eyes glinted with resolve. Clenching his fists, he replied with determination, "No… I can't just leave. I have to rescue Jane and the others. And I have to get my hammer back."

Alex was about to refuse when Tony cut in. "Don't leave just yet. These guys will make good test subjects." He pressed the arc reactor on his chest, and his armor formed around him in an instant.

Energy blasts shot from his palms, striking the approaching S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and Crossbones, triggering a full-blown battle.

"None of you are going anywhere—bring them down!" Crossbones shouted, prompting the agents to charge at Iron Man.

"Don't move. Let me handle this," Iron Man said to Alex and Thor, firing off a barrage of repulsor beams.

Alex didn't argue. He wasn't particularly interested in a fight anyway.

"Why don't you go save your friends?" Alex said flatly to Thor.

Thor finally seemed to register the chaos around him. He gave a firm nod and bolted away into the distance. As he ran, he shouted in that unmistakably loud voice, "Jane! Where are you? I'm here to save you!"

Alex watched him go, shaking his head.

"He doesn't even know where they're being held… What is he doing just yelling into the void?"

"No way… Is he actually expecting someone to answer back?" Alex found it hard to believe Thor was relying on brute volume to locate someone.

"Is it just me, or does this so-called god behave like a caveman?" Tony quipped mid-fight, dodging a blow from an agent.

Alex had to admit, Asgardian tech was bizarre. On one hand, they had spacefaring ships; on the other, no one had invented a damn phone.

Still, he wasn't too worried.

He believed in Thor's strength. Even without his divine powers, those agents shouldn't pose a serious threat. If Thor ended up in a real crisis, maybe he'd even recover his godly abilities. That was why Alex wasn't stepping in just yet—he wasn't exactly sure how Thor would regain his power.

Just in case, Alex dispatched a few shadow soldiers to follow Thor covertly.

With that done, Alex folded his arms and leaned against a nearby wall, eyes sharp as he observed the battlefield.

Tony, clad in his latest Iron Man suit, was a picture of confidence and ferocity, engaging S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and Crossbones in fierce combat.

Alex's gaze lingered on the red and blue armor—clearly inspired by Kamen Rider Build. The colors gave off both a sleek and mysterious aura. Tony wielded the suit's powers skillfully, alternating between ice and fire blasts to deal with his enemies.

Alex knew exactly how powerful this armor was. It could unleash devastating ranged attacks with elemental energy, but it also excelled in close quarters. Tony's movements flowed smoothly with the armor—each punch and kick brimming with force.

Even Crossbones, a powerhouse on par with Captain America, was losing ground against Tony's onslaught.

Alex couldn't help but recall the intense Civil War fight between Tony and Steve Rogers. Back then, Tony had put up a good fight but still lost to Cap.

But that Tony was long gone.

Under the watchful eye of Alex Ray—a man many called a "perfectionist lunatic"—Tony's strength had improved rapidly.

Alex regularly tossed Tony advanced tech from across the multiverse, pushing him to innovate and evolve.

Now, Tony was operating on an entirely different level—technologically and tactically.

Alex was convinced: if Tony fought Cap again, he'd crush him.

Just as that thought crossed his mind, a peculiar figure entered the battlefield.

Tony's attention was immediately drawn to a man in a sleek black suit… with a bright pink shirt underneath.

The newcomer had a bizarre charisma. His hair looked like it had lost a fight with a lawnmower, yet it worked in a strange way.

He walked with theatrical arrogance, each step radiating dominance—as if the world itself belonged to him.

His eyes gleamed with confidence and provocation, practically screaming: "I'm the king here. Who dares oppose me?"

As the man drew closer, music suddenly started playing—an odd, dramatic tune that seemed to echo across time and space or perhaps deep from within his soul.

The melody was bizarre yet electrifying. It stirred tension and excitement in everyone who heard it.

"Thump, thump, thump! Thump, thump, thump!"

"What the hell? Where's that music coming from?" Tony muttered, narrowing his eyes, clearly sensing danger.

Alex recognized it instantly. That music… that was his theme. The theme of an arrogant, flamboyant warrior.

The man stepped toward Tony with a cocky smirk. "This guy looks tough. Mind if I play with him for a bit?" he said casually.

As he spoke, he drew a card from his pocket and slid it into his belt.

A booming voice rang out across the battlefield:

"KAMEN RIDER!"

"DEEEEEEECADE!"

A brilliant burst of magenta light exploded from the belt, engulfing the area in radiant energy.

As the light faded, a striking figure stood in its place.

Clad in bold magenta armor, the newcomer stood tall—Kamen Rider Decade had arrived.
