Tony looked at the Kamen Rider standing before him, then glanced back at Alex Ray, as if silently asking whether this Rider was Alex's ally.
After all, in Tony's experience, the only person capable of transforming into a Kamen Rider here was Alex.
Alex shook his head slightly, signaling that the armored figure facing Tony was not his companion.
Alex was also curious about what Kadoya Tsukasa intended by showing up here. Known as Kamen Rider Decade and often called "Brother Tsukasa" among his peers, Kadoya's motives were frequently inscrutable.
Tony sensed this immediately. The Rider before him was clearly not on their side. He took a deep breath, squared his shoulders, and prepared for the next confrontation.
He was confident—strong enough now not to fear anyone except Alex Ray.
Recalling his previous battle with Harry, who transformed into Kamen Rider Accel, Tony had managed to win by relying on his own strength.
As a Kamen Rider himself, Tony knew his limits and believed he could handle this challenger.
"So, for the sake of fellow Riders, I suggest you leave now," Tony said coldly.
But Kadoya Tsukasa ignored Tony's warning.
He waved dismissively, pointed at Tony without concern, and said, "You're going to fight me in that tattered armor without transforming? That's laughable."
The arrogance in Kadoya's voice angered Tony. He had never met an opponent so brazen.
Tony glared fiercely and decided to teach the intruder a lesson.
"My armor's more than enough to take you down!" he shouted confidently, pride dripping from his voice.
Activating Iron Man's weapon systems, he unleashed freezing rays and laser beams toward Kadoya.
The dazzling streaks of light cut through the air like a hungry beast ready to devour him.
Though arrogant, Tony was no fool. While firing, he prepared for a counterattack. He knew Kadoya wasn't an ordinary fighter and approached him cautiously.
However, Kadoya's reaction defied Tony's expectations.
Rather than panic, Kadoya remained calm. He easily dodged the attack, pulled a card from his card box, swiped it across his belt, and suddenly a sharp sword materialized in his hand.
With lightning speed, Kadoya swung the blade, slashing directly at Tony.
Tony had no time to react. A powerful force slammed into his armor, slicing it clean in half instantly.
Kneeling halfway, stunned, Tony stared at the man before him in disbelief.
He hadn't expected Kadoya to be so strong, to destroy his prized armor with a single strike.
His face twisted with resentment and shock as he thought, Damn it, another upgrade needed for my Iron Man suit? Why does every new model get wrecked so fast?
Kadoya smirked arrogantly. "You've got spirit, but your strength's lacking. Your temper, though—terrible. You're a bad junior. I'll give you a chance: transform into a Kamen Rider and fight me properly."
Kadoya didn't kill Tony outright because, despite the man's weakness, he was still a fellow Rider—a junior knight in his eyes. Kadoya had faced many arrogant opponents, and Tony was relatively tame compared to some.
There were others who boasted far more loudly, preaching about their grandmothers and other nonsense.
Still, Kadoya was willing to let Tony transform and fight him. For Kadoya, traveling across worlds and sparring with juniors was one of his few pleasures.
Kadoya saw Tony as the first and only Kamen Rider of this world.
Alex sometimes felt sorry for Tony. Every time Tony developed a new battle suit, eager to show it off, he ended up failing.
Every upgrade led to an even stronger enemy. It wasn't Tony's fault—the Iron Man suit was more advanced than the ones featured in the Avengers movies.
But his opponents were usually Alex Ray or Kadoya Tsukasa—pretty unlucky, all things considered.
Tony realized now that without transforming, he wouldn't be able to defeat this enemy.
He didn't like relying on the Kamen Rider power. If he could, he wanted to win through his own strength. The Rider powers came from Alex Ray, and Tony's pride wanted to prove he could stand on his own.
Standing up, Tony strapped the belt around his waist.
He pulled out two energy bottles.
Unlike his usual transformation stance, Tony held both bottles in one hand and raised them forward.
He took a deep breath and shouted, "Then the experiment officially begins!"
As he spoke, complex mathematical formulas appeared, swirling around him. The space around Tony shimmered with a mysterious energy.
He inserted the bottles into his belt.
"RABBIT."
"TANK."
"BEST MATCH!"
Tony flipped the lever on his belt.
"ARE YOU READY?"
At that moment, something resembling a chemical apparatus materialized beneath Tony's feet, with experimental tubes appearing in the void.
Blue and red liquids rushed through the tubes, as if a secret experiment was underway.
Instantly, a red knight armor formed in front of him, and a blue armor appeared behind.
The two suits converged, locking Tony tightly inside.
"Transform!" Tony shouted, and Kamen Rider Build emerged.
Clad in red and blue armor, wielding powerful weapons, he looked every bit the warrior descended from legend.
"RABBIT TANK!"
"YEAH!"
The final "yeah" made Tony cringe and cover his forehead—one reason he hated transforming.
He felt the transformation made him look childish, damaging his playboy image.
Tony wanted to change the transformation sound effects, but no matter how much he tried, he couldn't remove the childish phrases that escaped when he became Kamen Rider Build.
Like now, shouting, "The rules of victory have been determined!"
