The night had finally come to Northuldra and Arendelle. The sky, once cracked with the fury of a magical storm, now shimmered peacefully, stars scattered across the heavens like shards of hope. The mist that had cloaked the forest had lifted entirely, the spirits calmed, and the ancient balance that had been broken by man's greed was finally restored.

The dam was gone. The river flowed freely again, coursing with renewed energy down from the mountains, cutting through the forests, and sweeping past the village ruins. Its once-forbidden path was now open, wild, but beautiful.

And in Arendelle, there was no disaster. Thanks to Ethan's foresight, the warning had reached the city in time. Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf had made it—just barely—taking the fastest route with the north wind at their backs. The people had evacuated quickly. When the great wave had neared Arendelle's shores, the snow that blanketed the land had inexplicably begun to melt. The waters rose, but didn't destroy. The magic that had once isolated the land now protected it.

People watched in awe as the last remnants of the magical snowfall faded into water vapor, the sky above shining with a warm moonlight that hadn't been seen in weeks. Arendelle was safe.

In the forest clearing near the old ruins of the Northuldra camp, Ethan stood atop a mossy cliff, staring out at the open land below. The air smelled fresh. Earthy. Like new beginnings.

And then…

Ding!

System Rebooting... System Stabilized.

Thank you, Host, for your patience.

Main Quest: 'Restore the Balance' — Completed.

Reward: 12,000 EXP, +3 Stats across all attributes, Special Title Gained: "Peacemaker."

Unlocked Ability: Traveler's Blessing.

Ethan blinked. "…It's been a while," he whispered with a chuckle.

The system's voice was clearer now, as if the glitch that had been haunting it was finally gone.

Traveler's Blessing:

Description: The Host can now revisit any world he has previously traveled to. Time remains frozen in the other worlds when he is not present.

Use this ability to tie up loose ends, visit allies, or gain strength across multiple realms.

His heart skipped a beat. That meant…

He could go back to his world, to Alice, Samantha,. The one where it all began. The life where he first awakened as a traveler. And not just that… he could also return to Danmachi, to Lili, and even that short, energetic goddess Hestia. His chest tightened at the thought.

"They're all waiting," he muttered, looking down at his open hand.

But then he clenched it into a fist. Not yet.

There was still one thing left to do here.

He turned his gaze toward the village campfires glowing softly in the distance. Elsa and Anna were there, with the Northuldra and the remaining Arendelle guards. The night was quiet, the people finally resting after days of fear and uncertainty.

Ethan had earned his right to leave.

But he hadn't said goodbye.

No one knew that he would be going soon. And strangely… that was how he wanted it. No grand farewell. No last-minute clinginess or dramatics. He wasn't leaving forever. Thanks to the system, he could return.

Host Inquiry:

"System, if I leave this world... time stops until I return?"

System Response:

Affirmative. Time in each world remains suspended in your absence. When you return, it will be as if you never left.

Ethan smiled. "That's perfect…"

He sat down by the cliff's edge, letting the cool breeze pass over him. The stars above twinkled with ancient stories, and for the first time in a while, he felt like a chapter was truly complete.

He reflected on what he had done.

He had helped Elsa find her true path—not just as queen, but as a guardian of elemental balance.

He had helped Anna step into her role as the future Queen of Arendelle—wise, kind, and brave.

He had prevented a catastrophe. Saved a kingdom. Helped rebuild a bridge between two peoples torn apart by betrayal.

And he had done it while hiding the burden he carried… the truth of being a traveler. A being from another world. A visitor who came not just to change the world—but to grow in it.

But he couldn't just vanish.

He had to see them once more.

Maybe not say everything. But at least… share a night.

Let them remember him not with grief, but with peace.

As Ethan stood, brushing off the dirt from his pants, he whispered to the system.

"I'll leave tomorrow."

System Note:

Understood, Host. Portal Access Available When You Are Ready.

Tonight… tonight would be his last night here for a while.

But not the last forever.

And so he walked toward the warm lights of the camp.

Toward Elsa. Toward Anna. Toward his friends.

The world he had changed… was now a world that would never forget him.
