The moon hung high above the forest, a silver lantern casting its gentle glow upon the world newly reborn. The floodwaters had receded. The spirits were calm. Arendelle was safe.

And yet, amid the stillness, Ethan found his thoughts drifting—not toward distant worlds or futures unexplored, but here, now, in the quiet after the storm.

He stood near the edge of the forest, where the trees met the water, arms crossed as the cool breeze rustled his coat. His eyes watched the ripples of the lake, thoughtful, distant. The system was silent again. After rewarding him with the Traveler Ability, it had gone quiet—no notifications, no guidance. Just peace.

For once, Ethan didn't mind the silence.

"Couldn't sleep?" came a gentle voice from behind.

He turned. Elsa approached with soft steps, her white gown catching the moonlight like frost on winter glass. Her platinum-blonde hair flowed down her back in waves. Her bare feet made no sound on the moss-covered ground.

"I don't think I need sleep tonight," he replied with a smile. "Too much on my mind."

She nodded and stood beside him, gazing out at the water.

"It's strange," she said softly, "how everything feels so different now. The forest. The spirits. Even me."

"You're not the same Elsa I first met," Ethan murmured.

"No," she smiled faintly. "And yet, I think this is who I was meant to be."

They stood in silence, and Ethan could feel the weight of unspoken words between them. The night seemed to encourage vulnerability.

"I never properly thanked you," Elsa said finally, turning to him. "For everything. For helping me… find myself. For fighting beside us. For believing in me when I didn't."

"You don't need to thank me," he said quietly, his voice softer than usual. "I wanted to help. And… I care about you."

Elsa's expression trembled, eyes shimmering in the moonlight. "You've become more than just a friend to me, Ethan. You were there when I was lost. When I felt like a mistake of nature… you made me feel like I belonged."

She reached out, her fingers brushing his.

"I love you, Ethan."

The words were light but they hit him with the weight of a mountain. She looked both terrified and serene as she said them, as if releasing a secret she had held for too long.

He gently took her hand and gave a small squeeze.

"…I love you too, Elsa."

For a moment, they didn't need anything else. No world-hopping. No systems. No battles. Just this connection between them.

But then, another soft voice broke the moment.

"…So do I."

They both turned. Anna stood a short distance away, her dress a regal shade of green and gold befitting a queen, but her eyes were those of a woman—vulnerable and true.

"I'm sorry," she said, approaching slowly. "I didn't mean to listen in… but I couldn't stop myself."

Ethan's heart tightened.

"Anna—"

She walked up, not with bitterness, but with tears clinging to her lashes.

"You helped me carry the weight of becoming Queen. You reminded me of my strength when everything was falling apart. You… held me when I was breaking."

She stepped closer, her voice trembling.

"I've never felt this way about anyone. And maybe it's selfish of me, but… I love you too, Ethan."

Elsa's gaze didn't flinch. Instead, she reached out with her free hand and gently held Anna's.

The sisters shared a look—something deep, old, and unshakable. Then they both turned to him.

Ethan was stunned. His heart pounded in his chest. Two women—sisters, no less—whom he had come to care for deeply, had both given him their hearts.

And they waited.

"…You both mean everything to me," he said at last, voice low and earnest. "Elsa, you're strength and serenity. Anna, you're fire and hope. I'd be lying if I said I didn't love you both."

They didn't pull away. They didn't fight. Instead, they stepped closer and embraced him at once—arms around his chest, heads resting on his shoulders.

No words were needed. The warmth of the moment spoke more than anything.

In that fragile silence, he felt… home.

Later that night, the three of them sat by a small campfire near the edge of the spirit forest. Olaf had wandered off somewhere with Sven, and Kristoff was in Arendelle making preparations as the new Queen was now officially crowned.

Anna leaned on his shoulder, her red hair soft against his neck. Elsa sat on the other side, her hand resting gently on his. The stars glittered above them like blessings from the universe.

"So…" Anna murmured, "what happens next?"

Ethan hesitated.

A part of him wanted to tell them. About the system. About the worlds he'd been to. The ones he could return to. The one he came from.

But he didn't.

Not tonight.

"I don't know," he said instead. "But I'll be here for now."

Elsa nodded. "That's enough for me."

"Me too," Anna added, squeezing his arm.

And so, under the calm breath of the night, with love quietly blooming, Ethan held them close—his heart full, yet carrying a secret that only he and the stars knew.
