Most of them who'd been inside when the shot had occurred thought she'd been the one whom the bullet hit, while the ones who got the chance to see the bullet hit Mileena were wondering if she was a doppelgänger or an obsessed fan who went all out to get a cosmetic facial reconstruction to look like her favorite celebrity.
None of these were enough reasons for Hailey to return home. Even when she was tired, she forced herself to stay, because there was this feeling like she needed to stay there and protect Mileena.
