"Mileena," Flora cried.
Hailey looked at Mileena. They both had the same color of eyes. It felt like she was looking in the mirror.
"Nice to meet you, Mileena," Hailey said, a smile on her lips.
Silence reigned between them as no one said a word.
"I came to see you," Mileena said, returning the smile.
"What a grand gesture you performed. I don't think anyone would ever forget this," Eduardo suddenly said as he and Killian walked inside.
Milleen's gaze darkened at him as her smile faltered. Before she'd been shot, she'd seen him with Hailey walking towards their car.
"It's not like I wanted to be shot," she retorted, anger suddenly bubbling within her. "It's obvious someone wanted to kill Hailey and I just happened to be in the way."
Eduardo parted his lips to say something, but Killian, knowing his best friend wasn't going to say anything that made sense at that moment, glared at him.
Eduardo noticed it and decided to keep shut, for now.
