Chapter 26 - The Gate Is Finally Closed

Forgotten Space....

A portal made out of pure white spiritual energy appeared in the eerie still forgotten space. The space which was once filled with floating rocks, boulders and bridges was now covered in intense fog. The space, once again was devoid of spiritual energy with rifts in the sky.

Eight tall figures walked out of the portal of pure white spiritual energy. Seven among the eight tall figures had golden glowing rings floating on their heads. These seven had a strange symbol of a circle and an A inside the circle,on their foreheads. Then to top it all, the seven tall figures had flowing white hair that was long, reaching their waists.

However, the last tall figure was different. He emanated a powerful aura that could command fear and utmost loyalty. Unlike the rest seven, this figure didn't have a symbol on his forehead neither did he have a floating golden glowing ring on his head.

He was just as ordinary with flowing red hair and red eyes that held a hint of evil. He had a well colourful skin and was considerably handsome beyond all standards. His red hair matched very well with his red eyes and this made him even more stunning.

Considerably, these eight figures are Angels. Not just Angels but male Angels. They were tall with imposing aura, heavenly and divine grace seemed to follow them. Seven of the eight male Angels were known as the Arch Angels. That explains the floating golden glowing rings on their heads, the symbol on their foreheads and the pure white long hair that they all had.

The last Angel among the eight carried a different and more imposing aura that could command undeniable fear and force even the bravest man in the human world to his knees. This Angel was no other than the Angel of Destruction, Jaden Ichabod. The brother to the supposed Angel of war.

As earlier said, he is a tall imposing figure with extremely handsome features. His red eyes that complimented his red flowing hair and also has a pair of red wings with white outlines on it.

The seven Arch Angels all had respectively white wings but what differentiated them all were their eyes. But strangely, their eyes were dark. There was no colour to their eyes. It almost seemed as if their eyes were darker than the darkest. That was strange since, the eyes of the seven Arch Angels were usually colourful.

Jaden and the seven Arch Angels walked out of the portal with Jaden in front of them. The seven Arch Angels with their white wings and relatively and strange dark eyes, followed Jaden like they were bewitched or controlled.

As all known, the seven Arch Angels names were;

Arch Angel- Michael

Arch Angel- Gabriel

Arch Angel- Raphael

Arch Angel- Uriel

Arch Angel- Saraquel

Arch Angel- Raguel

Arch Angel- Remiel

These Angels followed Jaden as he stepped out of the portal. The portal closes after they stepped out.

Jaden's gaze surveyed the whole forgotten space. He felt the whole place was odd and out of place, considering the puzzling stillness. His eyes landed on a huge gate that stood in the center of the forgotten space.

Considerably, the gate wasn't giving it's normal golden glow neither was it releasing it's large amount of spiritual energy to it's surrounding. It just stood there in the endless space with a thick fog covering it. This was mostly because the gate wasn't opened. The gate was closed and as a result, lost it's earlier magical qualities.

Jaden immediately realised that Tamara had successfully closed the gate and he had arrived at the forgotten space too late, giving her time to leave the forgotten space after she had closed the gate.

Realising the gravity of the situation of him not being able to get to the human world and kill the reborn versions of his brother, rage filled him to the brim.

He inevitably clenched his fists in fury as his knuckles turned white. His red eyes quickly had rage in them and his handsome face contorted in fury. He let out a deep animalistic growl as the rage and fury could not be contained.

"That pesky little female Angel!!"

Jaden growled in utter fury as his eyes burned with rage.

The air surrounding Jaden immediately became tensed with an overwhelming aura that screamed rage. The seven Arch Angels could feel the overwhelming aura crashing on them and despite their power, they struggled to breathe under the overwhelming aura.

"She's gonna pay!!!" Jaden said through gritted teeth. "I'm gonna kill her, feed her flesh to the dogs and use that filthy wings of hers as my rug".

Jaden's uncontrolled rage could be seen. He looked up into the sky filled with rifts and gave a roar that shook the whole forgotten space. His red eyes quickly burned with red spiritual energy,so did both his hands. The very rocky grounds started to crack under the powerful aura Jaden released in his uncontrolled rage.

The seven Arch Angels seemed unfazed with their dark eyes but they struggled to breathe under the overwhelming release of aura.

After some minutes, Jaden calmed down and stopped roaring like a wild animal. His red eyes and both hands that burned with red spiritual energy extinguished immediately. Also, the shaking of the rocky ground also stopped as well.

"Don't worry, Tamara. You may have stopped me now from killing the reborn versions of my brother by closing the gate. But not for long, cause, I'll find a way to open the gate. I'll promise you that".

Jaden said, his voice still laced with rage for what Tamara had done. She had clearly stopped him from ruining her plans of bringing his brother back, but she will pay for it. He solemnly promised himself.

Not long after, with the flick of his hand, he opened a portal to which he solemnly walked into with rage still etched in his handsome face. His fists were clenched as he made his way through the swirling portal of red.

The seven Arch Angels that had dark eyes, also followed into the portal as if they were being controlled. The portal closes, not long after to leave a space that was once filled with floating rocks, boulders and bridges but now filled with a dense fog that covered the once glowing gate, between the human world and the city of Angels.

Tamara's dimension.....

Tamara woke up. She immediately entered a sitting position as she looked around her. Sweat trickled down her neck and her forehead. She was quite tired as she sighed and lay back on the bed.

Currently, she is in her dimension. She is lying down on a makeshift bed made of plants vines and leaves. The makeshift bed was just on the roots of a huge tree that overshadowed her, casting it's shadows on her. Branches of a tree was equally connected to the makeshift bed making her realize that the branches were from the huge tree that cast it's shadows on her. Her wings were sprawled carelessly on the bed made of plant vines and leaves.

Actually, the huge tree on which the bed was on it's roots, was the tree spirit in her floating island. The huge tree spirit, being the very essence of life in her floating island.

"Mistress! You're awake. Thank goodness".

A manly voice said, startling her in it's wake.

Tamara, upon hearing the voice quickly rose up to a sitting position. For sure, she knew the owner of the voice and it was no other than, Unknown. He was carrying a wooden tray that had symbols under it. On the wooden tray was a small plate that had steaming hot medicinal soup. There was also a spoon and a cup of tea on the tray.

Tamara, who had risen to a sitting position, put her legs on the ground. She was barefooted. She took her gaze to Unknown and gave a raised eyebrow.

As for Unknown, he had a smile on his handsome human form (handsome face). His horns once again added to his handsome features. He had the wooden tray on his hands as he stared at Tamara with a familiar fondness.

"What happened and why are we in my dimension instead of the forgotten space?"

Tamara suddenly asked while still staring at Unknown who still had a smile on his face.

"You passed out,as a result of using too much spiritual energy. Besides that, your skin is still pale white,so I brought you back to your dimension to recover".

Unknown answered.

Tamara, hearing Unknown's answer looked at her body to confirm that what Unknown was saying,is true. She sighed upon realization.

"Mistress! I brought you this to help you recover faster".

Unknown proposed as he moved to sit on the makeshift bed,a little further away from Tamara.

"Thanks very much, Unknown. I'm grateful".

Unknown replied with a nod.

"How long have I been out?"

Tamara asked as Unknown placed the wooden tray on her laps.

"Two days".

"Where we able to close the gate?"

Tamara asked once again while sipping from the medicinal soup with the spoon.

"Yes, Mistress. We have successfully closed the gate, stopping Jaden from going to the human world. However, I fear Jaden's wrath".

Unknown spoke sincerely.
