"I know cherry blossoms make foxes calm… I don't understand the logic behind it though." His gentle voice replays in my mind as I stare at the piece of clothing in my hand, and I'm transported back to that night.

"Really? I'm just learning this." I reply honestly, and he pauses.
"Hold on. So am I wrong?? I snooped around and I was told…" He begins to rant, and I quickly get off the chair and pull him to myself.
"You worry too much, Elien. I never said you were wrong. I'm just learning this. That's what I said." I correct, and his fierce red eyes look up at me.
"Well then, let's test it. I spent the whole day carefully glueing each petal to this fabric. Do you know how hard that was? You'd better like it!" He replies as he holds up the piece of cloth, beautifully decorated with cherry blossoms and I smile.
I take the fabric from him and hold it over my nose with both my hands.
