Synopsis
In a world where quirks define destiny, a mysterious transfer student named Kairo joins U.A. High's Class 1-A. Gifted—or perhaps cursed—with the power to manipulate time and space, Kairo quickly proves himself an enigma to classmates and teachers alike. His precise control and calculated detachment suggest a past forged in survival rather than training. As the heroes-in-training face new challenges and threats, Kairo’s presence begins to shift the course of events—subtly at first, then drastically. While his classmates grow curious, one student in particular, Momo Yaoyorozu, sees through the cracks in his stoic mask. Her growing connection to Kairo could uncover the truth he’s desperately hiding: that he comes from a future already devastated by war, hunted by a villain who knows his every move. As time unravels and the lines between past, present, and future blur, the students of Class 1-A are thrust into a conflict larger than any one era. With allies like Midoriya and Todoroki at his side—and enemies like All For One watching closely—Kairo must decide if rewriting fate is worth the cost of becoming something he swore never to be again. Because sometimes, to protect the future... you must disrupt the present.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: A Disruption in Time

U.A. High – Classroom 1-A, Morning

The classroom buzzed with the usual morning chatter. Bakugo was arguing with Kirishima over something explosive, while Midoriya scribbled furiously in his notebook. Momo and Todoroki were discussing their last strategy session when the door slid open with a soft hiss.

Aizawa walked in, sleeping bag in tow, and dropped it near the podium.

"Quiet down," he muttered. "We have a new student joining us today."

That got everyone's attention.

The class fell silent as a figure stepped in behind Aizawa.

Silver-white hair with black streaks. Pale skin. A sharp gaze that flickered—just briefly—with violet light. He wore the U.A. uniform perfectly, but something about him didn't quite match the usual new student vibe. Like he didn't belong in just one moment in time.

Aizawa gestured lazily.

"This is Kairo. Transfer student. Effective immediately."

Kairo gave a small bow. "It's a... pleasure."

Midoriya was already analyzing. His presence... it's calm, but there's something restrained. Like he's holding back pressure.

Yaoyorozu smiled politely. "Welcome to Class 1-A."

Uraraka waved. "Hi!"

Bakugo scoffed. "Tch. Another extra."

Kairo glanced toward Bakugo, expression unreadable. "We'll see."

Aizawa yawned. "You'll all get to know him during today's assessment. Get into your gear. We're using Training Field Gamma."

Scene: Training Field Gamma – Midday

The facility shimmered with sunlight on steel. Mock buildings stood tall, designed for urban combat and rescue simulations. Class 1-A lined up, suited up, eyes now shifting to their mysterious new classmate.

Aizawa stood at the head, arms crossed.

"Today's training will assess three things: combat, rescue, and terrain navigation. We'll rotate teams. Kairo will start alone."

Kairo stepped forward silently, cloak fluttering slightly in the breeze. His dark trench-style suit was marked with chrono-symbols, and a holographic clock dial shimmered on his arm.

Test 1: Combat Evaluation – Kairo vs. Iida, Kaminari, and Sero

The mock battlefield snapped to life.

"Three-vs-one?" Kaminari blinked.

"Don't go easy," Aizawa said flatly.

Iida charged in, engines roaring. Sero flanked with tape, and Kaminari lit up behind them. Kairo stood still. The clock on his arm blinked.

Kairo's POV:

Predictable. Engage 0.6 second dilation. Shift 12 degrees left. Phase to blind side.

Time distorted around Kairo. His form blurred, vanishing and reappearing behind Sero. In a blink, Sero was disarmed. A ripple of space twisted under Kaminari, throwing off his aim. Iida lunged—only to find Kairo already behind him.

Kairo touched his shoulder. "Out."

All three stood frozen, stunned.

"Did he just... warp?" Kaminari muttered.

Aizawa scribbled something in his notebook.

Test 2: Rescue Ops – Kairo, Midoriya, Yaoyorozu, Shoji

A simulated disaster zone. Crushed structures. Civilian dummies trapped beneath debris.

Shoji moved to lift rubble, while Yaoyorozu created bracing beams. Midoriya darted ahead with Full Cowling.

Kairo walked calmly, eyes scanning. A chunk of ceiling began to fall.

Kairo's POV:

Time loop. Five-second catch-and-release. Enough to delay collapse without affecting allies.

He extended his hand. The falling debris paused mid-air, quivering like stuck film. Yaoyorozu gaped.

"You're holding it?" she asked.

"Temporarily," he replied. "Ten seconds left."

Midoriya was amazed. "That's not just speed. He's—he's altering causality."

Kairo rescued two dummies in a blur, then deactivated the loop. The ceiling crashed down a moment later—harmlessly away from the team.

Test 3: Terrain Navigation – Kairo Solo

Platforms shifted. Traps triggered randomly. Pressure sensors, lasers, and shifting walls.

Kairo ran calmly, not dodging—disappearing. Each step landed on safe ground. His form flickered in and out, moving like a skipping record.

Kairo's POV:

Predict trap cycles. Bend the space field five meters ahead. Redirect heat signature. Silence motion echoes.

He bypassed four traps without triggering a single one.

Aizawa watched from above, frowning.

"He's not improvising," he said to himself. "He's done this before."

Aftermath: Observation Deck / Locker Room

The class gathered after, buzzing with confusion and awe.

"He's insane," Kaminari said. "Like a ninja... but in time."

"That wasn't teleportation," Midoriya muttered. "It was... manipulation. Like he rewrote events before they happened."

Yaoyorozu approached him gently.

"You've trained under someone, haven't you? That level of control—"

Kairo shook his head. "I trained under necessity."

She blinked, caught by the edge in his voice.

Then her tone softened. "You worked well with us… especially during the rescue. You didn't just take control—you let us move with you."

He looked at her, surprised. "Teamwork works better when no one realizes they're being led."

Momo smiled faintly. "That's… an interesting philosophy."

As the class began to disperse, she lingered, then walked away.

Kairo's POV:

She's sharp. Observant. Not just book smart.

He looked around at the class—Midoriya's endless curiosity, Bakugo's hot-headed disdain, Todoroki's silent judgment, and the warm energy of Uraraka and Kirishima.

They're strong. But they haven't seen real war. Not like I have. I wonder how long I can keep my past from catching up to me.

Scene: Kairo's Apartment – Late Evening

The apartment was small, clean, and spartan. Nothing on the walls. A small clock ticked on the table, one of the few decorations.

Kairo sat on his bed, removing the chrono-band from his arm and setting it carefully on the nightstand.

Kairo's POV:

They're good people. I don't want to drag them into this… but it's already too late. Time only moves forward for them. For me... I keep hearing echoes.

He lay down, staring at the ceiling.

I made it through day one. But tomorrow?

The light faded.

Tomorrow, the past catches up.
