It was already around ten in the morning, and the sun blazed high overhead, casting a golden brilliance across the streets. Jayvaughn's sleek silver Mercedes pulled to a slow stop in front of Marlon's apartment complex. Axel leaned over from the passenger seat, catching Jayvaughn's face in his hands and pressing a soft kiss to his lips.
"I'll get Mar to drop me off at your company later this afternoon," Axel said quietly, brushing his thumb against Jayvaughn's cheek.
Jayvaughn gave a small nod, but instead of letting Axel go, he leaned in and deepened the kiss. His lips moved against Axel's with unrestrained hunger, a slow and deliberate claiming that sent a rush of heat through Axel's chest. Their breathing grew heavy, the sound of it filling the enclosed car as Jayvaughn cupped the back of Axel's neck, holding him in place. The kiss turned heady and lingering, leaving Axel feeling both lightheaded and reluctant to pull away.
