Marlon tilted his head and gave Axel a pointed look. "Big brother, are you going to let me in, or are we just going to keep staring at each other all day?"
Snapping out of his daze, Axel quickly stepped aside. "Sorry. Come in."
Marlon strutted into the apartment in heels like he was walking a runway, leaving Axel stunned all over again. He silently watched his brother glide across the floor with practiced grace and couldn't help but wonder when Marlon had even learned to walk in heels like that. He looked like one of those Victoria's Secret models. As Axel closed the door behind him, he muttered under his breath, "I still don't know why Marlon thought turning into a literal goddess was a good way to calm Jayvaughn down. This isn't calming anything. It's like throwing gasoline into a fire."
