Jayvaughn glanced over with a smile tugging at his lips. "So... where's Jaimie?" he asked casually.
Axel rolled his eyes, clearly unimpressed. "He's with my parents," he said, his tone dry. "He somehow managed to charm them all. They insisted he stay the rest of the week. I'm sending over some clothes for him tomorrow." Axel let out a long sigh, stretching out beside Jayvaughn. "Now, thanks to you, I'm so tired I feel like my body's going to fall apart."
Jayvaughn just nodded, clearly delighted, a small grin playing at the corners of his mouth. Axel looked at him, squinting with mild suspicion. "Are you smiling because Jaimie's not around... or because I said I feel like I've been wrecked?"
Jayvaughn didn't answer. Instead, he pulled Axel gently against his chest, resting his chin atop Axel's head. "Sleep," he murmured. "I'll send PA Ryan to deliver Jaimie's clothes tomorrow."
