When Laurette and Laura left the pack a few days later, alongside Alpha Xavier their father, I was still sick, or I made them believe so.
Mira and I never got to complete our discussion so she too was in the dark, and believed that I was really sick.
"I got you some healing remedy." Mira said once she came into the room, and I peeled my eyes open. She had just returned from seeing Laura and Laurette off, and unknown to her, the beginning of carrying out our escape plan.
I looked around the room, and when I noticed that no one else was around, I took the clothes which were covering me off, and stood up.
"No, no please Luna–Avira please keep lying down." Mira pleaded, fixing her slip as quickly as she could. But I didn't have to keep lying down. I only did it to keep up an act these past few days. But with Laurette and Laura gone, I didn't need to put up with the act anymore.
