"That concludes our meeting for today."
Nathan got up from his seat as he adjusted his blazer, and dismissed everyone from the meeting room. As soon as he was out of everyone's sight, he pulled out his phone and looked at it intently.
He still hadn't received any call from Lucian, and it was already past ten. He started to worry a little, wondering if he might not be feeling well.
"Why are you staring at your phone so much? Are you waiting for a message?" Secretary Chen, who was beside him, noticed Nathan constantly watching at his phone.
Since early in the morning, Nathan had been checking his phone at least every ten minutes. It was impossible not to notice. And since Nathan rarely spoke to everyone but him, possibly his mother and almost never to Christian, he concluded that it must definitely be Lucian.
"Is everything okay at home?" He asked, guessing that something might be wrong with Lucian.
