The central area of Jurassic World was a bustling resort, filled with various commercial facilities.

All the tourists evacuated from the northern park had been gathered here—over two thousand people in total.

Confused and frustrated, they had no idea what was happening and loudly complained about the sudden park shutdown.

Inside the central control room, Masrani and Claire, who had already returned, were overseeing the situation.

The staff were tracking the real-time location of the two Indominus rex using the park's extensive camera system.

A second Asset Containment Unit (ACU) team had already been dispatched in off-road vehicles.

This time, they were fully armed with live ammunition. Their orders were clear: locate and terminate the Indominus rex on sight.

"Found them!" a staff member shouted.

"Both Indominus rexs are in Gyrosphere Valley, in the southern part of the herbivore enclosure—close to the Pterosaur Aviary!"

"Notify the second ACU team immediately," Masrani said, his voice tense with urgency.

Just then, the elevator doors opened, and a pot-bellied man walked in—it was Hoskins.

He'd gotten word through Dr. Wu's contacts that two hybrids had escaped.

"What are you doing here?" Masrani asked with a frown.

He recognized Hoskins—his private security group had worked with Jurassic World before, but Masrani had never fully trusted him.

"I'm here to help, of course," Hoskins said with a smile.

"If you want to stop those two Indominus rex, you must fight fire with fire. I've spent years developing Velociraptors for real combat. This is the perfect chance to prove they work."

Velociraptors? Against two Indominus rex?!

"That's insane," Masrani said immediately, shaking his head.

Letting the Indominus escape had already thrown the park into chaos.

Releasing the Raptors would only make things worse.

Was Hoskins seriously suggesting they unleash even more predators?

"What about the tourists?" Masrani added.

"There are thousands of people here—they've got nowhere to go."

Hoskins shot back, "And what are you going to do? Keep waiting while those things move closer?"

Masrani stared at him for a moment, then turned to his staff.

"Prep a helicopter. Get the M134 minigun from the armory. I'm going up there myself—I'm not letting those Indominus escape."

The room went silent. No one expected Masrani himself to take to the skies. But in this crisis, he was ready to fight.

Jack and Gray continued south, arriving at Gyrosphere Valley.

Once the most popular attraction in Jurassic World, this valley allowed visitors to tour in gyrospheres and get up close to peaceful herbivorous dinosaurs.

The valley was surrounded by steep mountains, dense with vegetation.

A winding stream cut through the landscape, cascading into a waterfall that scattered sunlight into glimmering droplets, like a curtain of pearls falling from the cliffs.

It had been a beautiful, tranquil place.

But now, all of that peace was gone.

Due to the emergency, the gyrospheres had stopped operating.

The valley was eerily silent, littered with the corpses of herbivorous dinosaurs.

Blood ran through the stream, staining the waters red.

Jack had already absorbed all of them and converted them into valuable gene points.

[Ankylosaurus Gene: "Bone Armor Lv4" has been upgraded to Lv5. Durability increased fivefold.]

[Ankylosaurus Gene: "Bone Armor Lv5" has advanced to "Steel Armor Lv1 (0/1000)" – as tough as steel.]

Jack had just completed the evolution of his Ankylosaurus gene to level 5, triggering its advancement.

As a result, the scales covering his body changed again, turning metallic silver-white, with a texture and hardness similar to reinforced steel plates.

His skin thickness exceeded 10 centimeters, drastically boosting his defense.

His entire body now resembled a heavily armored tank.

He had also hunted other herbivores like Triceratops and Stegosaurus, extracting new genetic traits:

[Triceratops Gene: "Bone Horn Lv1 (0/10)"]

[Stegosaurus Gene: "Bone Spikes Lv1 (0/10)"]

Both genes were combat-oriented—borrowed from the species' signature weapons: the Triceratops' horns and the Stegosaurus' spiked tail.

The Bone Horn trait caused two thick, curved brow horns to grow from Jack's skull—each up to two meters long—as well as a smaller nasal horn above his nostrils.

Meanwhile, the Bone Spikes trait produced four massive spikes at the end of his tail, each over a meter long, turning it into a deadly mace.

With these new upgrades, his head and tail became powerful weapons—capable of piercing armor with a charge or a single swing.

"Vrrrm—Vrrrm—"

Suddenly, the sound of engines echoed from the distance.

Using his telepathic perception, Jack detected two off-road vehicles approaching fast.

The humans were coming. Again.

He knew this time they weren't taking chances.

They were coming prepared, and the danger was real.

"Roaaar!!"

Jack let out a low growl and signaled to Gray, guiding her back into the dense forest.

There, they hid, blending into the environment using his Squid Gene's [Phantom Camouflage] and the Tree Frog Gene's [Multi-Band Invisibility].

Moments later, the roar of engines grew louder.

Two off-road vehicles crashed through the underbrush, stopping nearby.

More than a dozen armed men jumped out, weapons at the ready—each one carrying rifles, explosives, and other heavy gear.

"They're here," Jack thought coldly.

Within his psychic field, he observed the humans drawing closer, their tires leaving deep grooves in the earth. It wasn't the first time, but it looked the same.

At the same time, riding in the passenger seat of the lead off-road vehicle was the captain of the second Asset Containment Unit—a strong, broad-shouldered Black man.

In his hands was a high-tech radar life detector, designed based on electromagnetic reflection principles.

It picked up tiny biological movements—like breathing or heartbeat—and used them to detect living beings, even through dense cover.

Infrared stealth wouldn't help the Indominus rex here. This device could spot what the eyes couldn't.

"Beep!!"

Suddenly, a sharp alarm sounded. A red dot appeared on the radar screen.

"Contact! Three o'clock!"

The captain reacted instantly.

The vehicle swerved toward the signal, and the entire squad raised their weapons, aiming into the trees, ready to unload a storm of bullets the moment the target showed itself.

But something felt off.

Only one red dot? Where was the second Indominus rex?

Had they split up?

"BAM—!!"

An earth-shattering noise erupted behind them before the captain could finish the thought.

He whipped around—and what he saw made his blood run cold.

The second off-road vehicle, which had been following them, was suddenly launched into the air.

A split second later, an enormous foot—like a pillar from the heavens—came crashing down.

CRUNCH.

The entire vehicle was flattened into twisted metal. Blood splattered across the forest floor.

The soldiers inside were crushed instantly—no screams, no survivors.

"Holy—!!" the captain gasped, stumbling back.

He looked up.

Towering above him was a massive monster that seemed to blot out the sky.

The male Indominus rex.

According to the park's internal data, this sub-adult male was supposed to be about 15 meters long and 7.5 meters tall.

But what the captain was seeing now was at least twice that size—a walking nightmare of teeth, claws, and armor.

Even worse, his radar hadn't picked it up at all.

No red dot. No signal. Nothing.

Was it possible... the beast could even shield itself from electromagnetic waves?

This wasn't just an Indominus.

This was a predator that had evolved beyond their understanding.
