allen wasn't sure of what he would do if their enemies come to attack.
angels were powerful beings.
their presence on earth had manifested in a physical form and unlike other creatures whose mythology and lore are old. these beings have come to exist before time on earth began.
he was not a christian. his family were more islam but he had other religion in mind.
their beliefs didn't oppose of these beings sudden presence.
in fact. it supported the claim that these were Gods messangers in the higher planes of existence.
other religion had supported the fact that they were sons of God. even the bible which the Christian religion used as a book which teaches Gods word. commandments and stories of old. a time before creation.
this was the 7th time he had seen an angel and this one was less aggressive and more deplomatic. it must have come to warn the people of the city.
the wind was blowing quite fast.
he was up on the walls and he was contemplating his next move.
this might very well decide his future.
but then. he didn't know if this person could be trusted.
killing him would have been easier for captain thomas.
but for some reason. he'd been spared and locked in the prison.
it was a full moon in the sky.
there were stars in the sky and with his eyes he could see the forms and shapes which were visible.
he didn't know this strangers name.
surly. he had one.
allen needed answers and he was the only one who had answers to his question.
his back was rested at the iron wall and he was staring at the deserted land which was empty.
the lights at the wall were on.
he could see the gas station which was no longer functioning.
with the camera in his hand. allen could see a few of them. the night wakers who had black eyes were moving around within the gas stations environment.
they only moved at night.
movement at night was only safe for these spirits who had hunger for human flesh and blood.
their natural instinct was to hunt.
going outside the walls. alone and unarmed would be sucide.
allen scoffed and shook his head.
his countenance saddened when he thought of his mother.
she'd protected him with her life while they had not yet heard of the city of Ell. these were dangerous times to be existing.
your life was literally in your hands and any mistake could cost you your life.
he was still watching the gas station when he heard the sound of a bike engine.
it was from within the wall.
the rider had passed the second gate.
he was moving toward the first gate. upon closer look with the camera.
he saw nathan hills. the son of the general.
he wasn't wearing any helmet and as such. his face was exposed.
allen stood up from the ground and he continued to stare at him.
he was among the people who had seen the fallen angel who had 3 wings.
that was enough reason to make one paranoid or anxious.
why was nathan coming toward the walls.
he wondered.
but then.
he remembered his own desire for answers.
napoliens son wouldn't come here without a reason.
he stared at the second gate.
the angel was being held in a prison and here was his chance. the celebration was still going on and it wouldn't stop until 12am the next day.
the time on his wrist watch 9:30am.
for some one like nathan to visit. it meant that he was looking for something or someone.
nathan was very crafty. he knew the city very well and his influence was another thing.
allen could guess who he came looking for.
it had to be captain thomas.
nathan had already parked his bike in the garage among the other vehicles and bikes which were in the garage.
it was close to the military camp which they had built close to walk which was made with solid metal.
he was walking toward the military camp at the right direction of the wall.
it was made with wooden materials and as such.
it could be easily destroyed.
repairs had taken place last week.
maintenance had been done by house stewart. it was their job after all.
nathan was inside now. he watched him go into the building.
allen was at the left tower and he was climbing the stairs which led to the ground.
at the ground level. the wall seemed to reach the sky and it brought about a feeling of comfort. easing the worries of those who were afraid of the night walkers.
but then. they were beings which ought to be feared and even their walls would be impossible to protect anybody.
one was within the city walls now. an angel.
allen had never seen such a type of angel before.
he could tell he was different.
could tell that it wasn't from this world but how they came to be present in the world was a question that he could not answer.
they were as a matter of fact more superior than man.
their existence and the fact thàt their existence and the fact they'd found a way to be in the physical world had defiled the world of science and it's laws relating to physical existence.
allen believed that they were spiritual beings.
creatures which supernatural origin lies not in time and space.
as soon as he walked toward the garage. allen opened the door of captain thomas jeep.
he put on the engine with the car keys and began to revise backwards and then talking a turn to the left.
making a u turn before driving straight ahead toward the direction of the second gate.
a lot questions were in his mind but then.
the angel was his way to finding answers.
nathan walked in to the military camp with high hopes.
the urge to get answers concerning the angel had made him drive all the way to the wall in search for captain thomas.
the wooden house had chambers which were occupied.
rooms where weapons were kept.
it was crowded with people who were dressed in soilders uniforms.
there were his father's men.
the men began to salute upon seeing him and all he could do was nod at them.
"so, where can I find captain thomas?
he asked and folded his hand together. his countenance was gloomy and his mind was blank.
one of the soilders pointed at one of the room which was at the left.
the fifth room. it was half open and upon waking closer. he saw captain thomas seated in a chair.
it was his office. a pipe was in his mouth and he seemed to be thinking.
upon seeing nathan. he adjusted and sat upright. his right eye brow furrowed before he stood up from the chair.
"nathan hills." he sàid and extended his Left hand.
nathan shook his hand and then he put both hands in his pocket.
"can I seat captain? he asked.
"I can."
he said and then he shifted the chair backward before taking a seat.
captain thomas couldn't help but stare at nathan before sitting down.
"I know why you are here." said thomas.
"the angel." he said.
"I need to know everything about him."
"well."
"I don't know anything about him."
"the funny thing is."
"he came out from nowhere."
"he's not human."
"he has wing's."
"nathan."
"I know."
"I saw."
it must have been like a trick but it wasn't. they both knew what they saw.
he knew these creatures but then.
he'd never met one before.
"why do it become our prisoner?
captain thomas sighed.
"it said it wanted to deliver a warning."
"it must be powerful."
said nathan.
"what ever it says ,I don't believe it."
"he may as well be our enemy."
"indeed." said nathan.
nathan stared at the lands outside the walls.
"if some one like that."
"an angel."
"if it came to kill."
"we may as well have been dead and it would have breached into the main city without being stopped."
"our soilders are no match for these creatures."
"it's a good thing that the scientists are working on a new project."
"it would surly help this city."
"we need those technologies."
"all of us at the wall."
"when the time is right, house stewart shall deliver."
