the soilders at the second gate had allowed allen to pass through after checking his id card which identified him as a soilder of house hills.
it was night time. after his departure from the wall.
the weather had changed. the clouds had gathered and rain had started to fall.
it was 9:30 pm. he saw the time on his vehicle and his mind was thinking about the angel who had come to deliver a warning.
a powerful sound of thunder blasted in the sky. its white light shone brightly.
this caught his attention as he suddenly sat upright in the driver's seat of his military jeep.
unfortunately for him. there was traffic.
other vehicles were around which moved toward the main city.
it would seem that security was being tightened.
this was not a good time for the rain to start.
allen thought.
the cars ahead were taking time to move. he wondered if another inspection was happening and he wondered what for.
the prison was just close by.
it is owned by the house of hills. the angel had been imprisoned.
it was made with metal. long metal bars which looked like rods.
his id card hanged around his neck.
he would need it if the soilders there did stop to ask him questions.
he wasn't really sure of his response but as he sat down in the driver's seat of his Jeep.
his mind was already thinking of what it would give as an answer.
elenor must have seen a demon. that thing.
she wondered if it was human.
a man with 6 wings.
it must be evil.
weren't they all evil?
no matter the amount of wings they had.
these creatures were a threat to their lives. it must be a bad omen.
a bad one. she believed in the mission of Christ.
she believed in other teachings of Christ. like that of the rapture.
the regin of Satan on earth. by john in his vision given by God.
this were teachings she'd read since she was a child.
her experience of this life time did look like the end times which christ talked about.
it seemed not far fetched. more realistic and scary.
their mother had died after the gate was built
the citizens of Ell had survived because the night wakers couldn't pass the eall. it was hard to kill them.
they kept coming.
the prison of house hills. it was boldly written on the iron gate which stood to protect the building.
the rain was still falling and the gates were being guarded by two soilders.
she hadn't passed the gate to see what lies after the gate.
she was standing close to the church building.
it shaded her from the rain.
just then. she sighted a car driving toward the prison gate. it was a military jeep.
elenor couldn't help but to follow her instinct.
it was only fair if she saved her self the stress of going alone. as such. she began to run toward the road which led to the prison.
she wasn't behind schedule because as soon as she came out. the car in front of her stopped.
the driver was dressed in military uniform which belonged to house stewart.
both of her hands were pointed toward making a halt sign. she quickly ran toward the passengers seat and quickly went into the car.
the driver was a young man in early adult hood. like herself. upon seeing her. recognition crossed his face.
he quickly saluted.
"elenor, of house hills."
"I am at your service."
"of course."
"you are."
"I seek to go within the prison."
allen nodded. he was shocked and was also headed toward the prison.
what was the generals daughter doing in his Jeep at this time of the night.
first. he'd seen her brother.
now it was her.
was this a co incidence. he wondered. after all. he'd just seen the house of hills family together.
in a room where where the angel was present.
there was no doubt about this.
she thought.
she must have come to see these beings up close.
elenor watched him as he drove toward the gate.
the building was filled with lights but the gate didn't have any.
the soilders stepped forward and pointed their lights at the jeep.
it was navy blue in colour.
it seemed to bring out the details of each item that came to light.
one of the men that was at the passengers door of the jeep saluted upon seeing her.
she watched as the guy whose name appeared to be allen on his id card retrieved his item from the man who had questioned him and after this. they both gave the jeep space to pass and drive past the iron gate which automatically opened for them to pass.
the prison had a wall of its own and it covered the building.
escape was impossible when a gate was outside the building.
"allen christopher wells." she said.
"what might you be doing at the prison at this time of the day."
the young man stared at him and his countenance became more serious.
"official business." he responded.
she wasn't troubled.
he was a ticket into the prison.
"I'll be accompanying you for the night." she replied.
he nodded.
upon parking the jeep at the garage. allen came down from the jeep and so did elenor. she was a bit anxious.
it was seen in her expression. for reasons best known to her.
allen led the way toward the double doors and the security guards did a quick check on his id and then they saluted elenor before allowing them to pass through into the building.
inside was bright and cold.
it was a three story building and so far. it was still in maintenance.
at their left and right corner where cells and staircases were leading to same height.
allen was observing the prisoners who were imprisoned at this section.
there was no sign of the angel. he would need to find the prison ward.
elenor stared at him and wondered if he was here for the same person she was here for.
official business.
she remembered what he'd said.
she didn't recognize him from anywhere.
he sure did know her.
who wouldn't know her in the city.
she was the generals daughter.
she was famous and someone influencial like her shouldn't be moving with a soilder who was on duty.
faith would have it that she got a ride in after witnessing what she'd seen in her father's inner room.
she'd gone to the church to pray.
these were challenging times.
allen walked down the huge room and then he took a passage which was at his left.
behind him was elenor. she was quite as she followed him.
the room was crowded and soilders were patrolling.
mostly soilders of house hills.
he'd expected to be stopped again but for some reason. the lady elenor presence must have eased off their nagging questions.
he'd been here earlier with captain thomas but he'd been asked to wait in the car.
a glass fortified wall was built to protect him from the prison room and the man had a chair and table within his space.
allen and elenor walked toward the man within the contained unit.
he saluted upon seeing elenor. she was often surprised at their salutation but that wasn't her concern.
"what can I do to help you? asked the man from his device.
a small microphone on his desk.
"we." allen paused.
"I am here to request on the where about of a new prisoner."
"captain thomas from the first division brought him in this evening."
elenor stared at him and wondered what he was saying.
"you mean the angel?
the warden asked.
"I need to speak to him too."said elenor.
allen stared at her. her eye brows were furrowed.
"I was there when the captain brought him in.""
"I couldn't remember you."
"I should have guessed from the beginning."
allen wondered why nathan had not come here straight up without going to see the captain.
their father and the captain had denied access to see this creature.
allen thought.
had they?
"check the old prison block."
he said.
"section s."
"the cave kind of cells."
"cell 1."
"it's being guarded so make sure to give them a valid explanation for visiting."
"that won't be a problem." replied elenor.
elenor led the way this time. it would seem that she was quite familiar with the prison blocks.
alden didn't think a girl could be so familiar with prison yards.
he couldn't help but to follow behind her.
they approached the old prison block and went toward the door which was purely metal.
elenor stood close to the door and wondered if she was to knock or just push because there was no door knob or any sign which signified for her to push.
allen observed the double door and told her to knock.
she obeyed and did as he had asked her to.
for some reason . she'd obeyed.
and just like that.
the metal doors window opened and someone was staring at them.
they seemed to have noticed her because the door opened.
unlike the other doors which was made with technology. this one had no technology installed into it. as such. soilders were guarding it.
they both walked into the hall which was filled with cells which were made with rocks and iron rods. a little bit of metal too. the cells had numbers on them and they were up to 10 in the hall.
the soilders who were in the room guarding the cells were up to 15 in total and they were of house hills.
they all saluted her upon her arrival. some how. her presence brought respect in the city. especially from house hills soilders which were under her father.
cell 1 was just at their left and it was the first cell block opposite cell 2 which was at the right direction.
it was dark within the cell.
allen wondered if the angel which they had caught was still present and locked in this very cell.
it wasn't entirely metal. allen wondered if this creature could escape.
he didn't know it's abilities, strengths nor it's weaknesses. even it's limits.
but then. escaping wasn't entirely impossible as far he was concerned.
they were supernatural beings which had become physical.
leaving their invisible plane of existence to live in the physical world.
it was built with iron rods and they were used as gates.
