Sakamaki Izayoi's words, though crude, were sincere. They calmed the anxious Kuro Usagi, who stared at him, dumbfounded.

Despite their short acquaintance, Kuro Usagi understood Sakamaki Izayoi's personality. For him to speak so frankly revealed the immense pressure Arthas exerted.

"Arthas-sama… was he really that scary?"

After a long pause, Kuro Usagi murmured, as if to herself.

"Ah… that guy's a monster, a real monster."

Sakamaki Izayoi said, offering a wry smile; the description felt ironic coming from him.

"As for that so-called Serpent God, it was just a little white snake."

"Even if Sakamaki Izayoi-kun says that, you're underestimating the Serpent God! She's a god, after all!"

Shaking her head, recovering from her initial panic, Kuro Usagi ignored Sakamaki Izayoi and ran towards the waterfall.

"Well… it seems to be almost over. It should be safe to go now."

Sakamaki Izayoi muttered, following Kuro Usagi at a leisurely pace towards the waterfall.

The closer they got, the more intense the chilling air became, unlike Kuro Usagi's expectations.

Arthas, wielding the Gift of ice, didn't seem to be at much of a disadvantage against the water-controlling Serpent God. The cold air had already spread this far from the waterfall, suggesting Arthas was winning.

When Kuro Usagi and Sakamaki Izayoi reached the waterfall, they were speechless, forgetting the cold, staring in stunned silence at the magnificent scene before them.

The cliff known as the "edge of the world," the end of the Little Garden's eight major rivers, the Tritonis Great Falls, was completely frozen.

Not just the Tritonis Falls; the entire area for miles around had transformed into a world of ice and snow. Nothing but frost was visible.

Kuro Usagi and Sakamaki Izayoi stared at Arthas, dumbfounded. He rubbed his head sheepishly.

"Um… I got a little serious."

He offered a friendly smile to Sakamaki Izayoi and Kuro Usagi, causing them both to shiver involuntarily.

If that was just him getting "a little serious," what kind of destruction would he unleash if he was fully serious?!

"T-the… Serpent God-sama? What happened to her?"

Kuro Usagi asked anxiously, approaching Arthas and seeing the clearly visible ice sculpture of the Serpent God.

"Uh… the Serpent God-sama is an ice sculpture?"

"It's alright. I just froze her; she shouldn't be in any life-threatening danger."

Arthas reassured her. Despite defeating the so-called Serpent God, he had no interest in the reward.

This so-called god was incredibly weak, unbelievably weak. Could such a weak being truly call themselves a god?

With that level of strength, how could she possibly possess the power to travel between worlds?

Arthas thought this, sighing helplessly.

"Let's go, Kuro Usagi."

"Ah… ah… understood, Arthas-sama, but the Serpent God…"

"It's fine. The ice should melt completely within a day."

"No… it's not that. Arthas-sama, since you defeated the water god, please accept the reward. It's a tremendously valuable reward for our commonality."

"Oh?"

As Kuro Usagi spoke, Arthas paused, then a contract floated down from the sky, transforming into a small sapling.

"That's right, this! A water tree that produces an endless supply of clean water! Now our commonality won't have to travel so far for water resources!"

Kuro Usagi cradled the sapling, a look of happiness on her face.

"I heard everything. You can't even solve your water problems. Kuro Usagi, just how weak is your commonality?" A chilling voice echoed from behind Kuro Usagi.

"Ah! This!" Kuro Usagi jumped, speaking incoherently.

"Ah… I'm so sorry." Finally, she bowed her head in dejection, her rabbit ears drooping.

"Our commonality is on the brink of collapse, so we desperately needed new members… if… if Arthas-sama and Sakamaki Izayoi-kun hadn't joined…"

"Didn't I say I don't care about that?"

Seeing Kuro Usagi's anxiety, Arthas said with a chuckle, walking towards her and gently stroking her head.

As Arthas approached, the chilling air gradually subsided, the temperature rising to a comfortable level.

"Arthas-sama…" Kuro Usagi looked up, moved, her blue hair turning a beautiful pink again.

"Alright, save the emotion for later. Let's talk about the situation of our commonality. Being weak isn't a problem; find a way to get stronger."

Arthas said with a smile, the situation reminding him of the Hestia Familia.

"First, our commonality has no declared 'name.' Therefore, like many other nameless commonalities, we are scornfully called 'Nameless'."

"Oh, are there many commonalities in the same situation? And then?" Arthas nodded slightly.

"We also don't have a banner, which is crucial for showing a commonality's strength."

"Hmm? Anything else?"

"Besides having no 'name' and no 'banner,' the most critical issue is that we have almost no core members left. To be precise, out of our one hundred and twenty-two members, only Kuro Usagi and Young Master Jin can use Gifts in competitions. The rest are all children under ten years old!"

"That's utterly hopeless!" Sakamaki Izayoi sighed.

"Exactly…" Kuro Usagi hung her head again, dejected.

"But how did it get to this point? Is Kuro Usagi's commonality a kindergarten?" Sakamaki Izayoi asked curiously.

Kuro Usagi shook her head sadly.

"No. The children's families were all taken. Taken by the greatest disaster to ever strike the Little Garden—the 'Demon Lord'."

"Demon Lord?!"

Hearing this word, Sakamaki Izayoi, who had been passively listening, shouted.

"What's wrong, Sakamaki Izayoi-kun?" Even Kuro Usagi was startled by Sakamaki Izayoi's reaction.

"This is so interesting! If it's called the Demon Lord, it must be incredibly powerful! A game where you defeat a powerful boss and save a weak commonality on the verge of destruction? This is too interesting!" Sakamaki Izayoi jumped up, his eyes shining, like a child who'd found a fascinating toy.

"It's impossible. The Demon Lord is a natural disaster in the Little Garden, an almost invincible being. Even gods are no match for them."

"Oh…"

Hearing Kuro Usagi, Arthas also seemed interested.

A Demon Lord… such powerful beings… could they possibly possess the ability to travel between worlds?
