Carrying Kalifa as they dropped from the sky, Kaito sized up Yamato's outfit and immediately realized she was a total fan girl—the way she dressed was exactly like that fool.
But fortunately, Yamato was pretty, and wearing the same style didn't ruin her looks at all. Oden, on the other hand, just looked ridiculously dumb in those clothes.
Thinking this, Kaito smiled at Yamato and said,
"Should I call you Yamato, or should I address you as Kozuki Oden?"
When Kaito spoke the name "Kozuki Oden," a flash of purple light flickered in his eyes.
At the sound of those names, Yamato's pupils shrank sharply. What kind of background did this guy have? How did he know she liked to call herself Kozuki Oden—and even knew her real name?
But for now, she stubbornly insisted on the name Kozuki Oden and loudly declared,
"My name is Kozuki Oden!"
She even proudly puffed out her chest as if that name carried some great weight.
Kalifa sighed helplessly behind Kaito. She knew her boss held nothing but disdain—almost hatred—for this "Kozuki Oden." And now this Yamato actually dared to claim that name? Looks like someone was in for a rough time.
Sure enough, just as Yamato was proudly shouting her name, Kaito suddenly appeared in front of her and punched her straight in the gut. From behind her, you could even see the shape of his fist imprinting on her body.
This punch wasn't enhanced by any advanced Armament—just normal Armament Haki. Even so, the strength behind it was more than Yamato could take.
After receiving the blow, her face turned a deep shade of purple and blue. Clutching her stomach tightly with both hands, she staggered backward several steps, the pain in her gut leaving her speechless.
When the pain eased slightly, she looked up, eyes wide with shock, staring at Kaito.
Yamato had been raised by Kaido himself, beaten and trained from a young age. Her pain tolerance was top-notch. Yet this punch from Kaito broke through her defense completely—how could she not be shocked?
Looking at Kaito's youthful face—he looked even younger than her—Yamato found it hard to believe anyone that age could be so strong. Not even Oden, her idol, could match this.
Gritting her teeth against the pain in her stomach, she asked,
"Who exactly are you?"
Kaito looked at the grimacing Yamato and said calmly,
"I'm Vice Admiral ."
"Marine? You're here to catch my father? Just you and that woman?"
"I'm not in the mood to arrest your father right now. But when it comes to dealing with him, I'm enough on my own."
"You're enough on your own!?"
Such arrogance left Yamato speechless. She admitted Kaito was strong—far stronger than her—but compared to Kaido? She wasn't so sure. After all, her father Kaido was one of the Four Emperors!
Thinking of Kaido's terrifying power, Yamato shook her head and said,
"You don't know how scary he is. If it's just you alone, you'd better go back and bring some backup."
Hearing this, Kaito was speechless. What a doting daughter. Kaido, oh Kaido, you really raised a devoted little cotton-padded jacket.
Moved by her "filial piety," Kaito's fist gleamed with Armament Haki, ready to give her another punch as a form of encouragement.
Seeing this, Yamato quickly held her spiked club in front of her stomach. She knew there was no dodging Kaito's speed—her only choice was to try to block it.
However, this time Kaito was downright ruthless. He didn't aim for her stomach at all, but instead punched her square in the chest.
Bang!
The muffled sound was followed by Yamato collapsing to her knees in pain, dropping her club to the ground beside her.
This punch caused much more damage than the last one—her face had gone pale as a sheet.
Kalifa instinctively clutched her chest in shock, staring at Kaito with horror. She thought to herself that her boss was getting more and more twisted and that she'd better warn Ain to watch out later.
Kaito was completely unaware of Kalifa's thoughts behind him.
He stared at his fist, still savoring the sensation of that last punch—it felt like hitting a giant bundle of cotton.
Judging by Yamato's height and knowing she had Kaido's genes, she must be about two meters tall. Her muscles were all in the right places, with no extra fat to speak of.
Yamato grit her teeth and glared at Kaito admiring his own fist, gritting out,
"Where… where did you just punch me!?"
Kaito glanced at her, feigning surprise, and said,
"What's the matter? Didn't you call yourself Kozuki Oden? That's supposed to be a tough, manly name! And yet, with such a broad chest, you can't even take one punch?"
After saying this, Kaito ignored Yamato's face turning bright red with embarrassment and continued,
"Or maybe you're just a fraud. Actually, you're a woman named Yamato, right?"
That was downright cruel—mocking Yamato's gender, even though it was obvious just by looking at her. Yet she insisted on pretending to be Kozuki Oden.
Yamato's face flushed deep red at Kaito's words. She wanted to argue back.
Though Kaido had raised her as a boy, and she admired Oden, she had never forgotten that she was actually a woman.
But no matter what, her body was what it was—she couldn't deny it even if she wanted to.
Anyone with eyes could tell she was female! Kaito knew it, yet still attacked her on that point and refused to admit it was mean.
Still, she could vividly recall puffing out her chest and shouting that she was Kozuki Oden. How could she contradict that now? Saying so would be slapping herself in the face.
Right now, Yamato was truly at a loss for words, silently kneeling on the ground and refusing to look at Kaito's smug face any longer.
Kaito wasn't about to let this silly fan girl off the hook so easily. This clueless fangirl needed to be straightened out quickly.
Besides, the "Oden" she worshipped wasn't even worthy of being called a "star"—he was more like a "primate."
These two punches were just the start of her education—enough to wake her up and force her to face the harsh reality that she was, in fact, a woman.
Kaito wasn't going to let her kneel there silently like a dumb mute. His first lesson for Yamato was a gender correction class, and since he hadn't seen the results yet, how could he stop halfway?
The road of education was long and arduous!
Thinking this, Kaito looked again at Yamato's clutching chest. The Armament on his fist gleamed brightly.
Sensing this, Yamato suddenly looked up and saw the Armament shining on Kaito's fist. She shuddered in fear and dared not show any more bravado. If she got hit again, mountains would turn into valleys.
Tears welled in her eyes as she shouted at Kaito,
"I'm not Kozuki Oden! I'm Yamato! And I'm a woman! Can you please have some chivalry?"
