When Eryx leaves the room, just for a brief moment of stillness, a knock sounds softly on the door.
The silence is interrupted gently, followed by the creak of the handle turning. A young servant steps inside, carefully balancing a silver tray in her hands.
"Luna," she says quietly, bowing her head respectfully.
Morgana doesn't respond at first. She doesn't lift her eyes or acknowledge the girl at all. Her expression stays blank.
But then, she remembers... remembers that she made the decision to start fresh. This is the new version of herself that she's trying to create.
She wants to be different now, and with that thought in mind, she suddenly smiles.
"Good morning," she says, her voice light. "What's your name? Are you my new assistant?" She chooses her words on purpose, she doesn't say "servant." She wants it to seem like she doesn't see the girl as beneath her.
"Yes, Luna," the girl answers, bowing again.
