Beowulf snarled. "I won't go back but the only thing I can do for us is to reduce our enormous size. Don't worry they will think we are just a normal wolf."
I sighed, mentally facepalming myself. 'Anyway, since we are already at this point, why not let him do whatever he pleases? At least I get to see her… even just a glimpse is enough.'
"Just a glimpse, what about if we abduct her?" Beowulf's voice deepened with excitement. "We can take her back to the Bloodshade pack."
Without waiting for my answer, he began to shrink. Furs rippled, and our bones compressed into a smaller form, until we were at the normal size of an ordinary wolf.
Beowulf blurred through the woods, the half moon hung in the sky, faintly illuminating our path. A couple of minutes later, we stood at the northern wall.
"We are here," I muttered in his head.
