"Damn, damn this all!" I found myself stuttering, hand clenched in a fist as I slammed it against the hot ground, gazing at him. The one said to be the leader of the dragon clan standing, half my soldiers fallen. I tried standing, I needed to fight. Elara. My gaze turned to her, she was wounded, back in her human form as she coughed uncontrollably from the smoke that had spread around.
Some of the dragons were approaching her. I forced it, myself standing up, as I tried making my way to her side, only to be stopped by the same dragon clan leader.
"You should have just handed her over in the first place…" he sneered. "Now you are going to pay with your life."
