"Are you really going to shop here?" she asked, still a bit incredulous.
"What's wrong with that?" he shot back. "You used to take me to the night market, remember? It's pretty much the same thing."
"But back then, I didn't know who you really were," Rachel mumbled.
If she had known he was Jeffrey, she definitely wouldn't have taken him to the night market to shop for clothes.
"What's the difference? Whether in the past or in the future, I'm still your 'Jeffrey'," he said, looking at her seriously.
That gaze... it felt like a secret weapon to her!
"Well... go ahead and shop," she said, biting her lip as they wandered through the food street together.
