Kai's POV
The coldness of the heavy rain felt nothing compared to the warmth coming from Zane's body. We were standing face to face, and his brooding eyes were still on mine. I don't know what he's thinking, but he's definitely angry.
He suddenly grabbed my wrist as his jaw clenched. "We're going home."
I shook my head. "I can't, Zane! I need to find that person. He's blackmailing me!"
"He might be planning something against you! Why are you so reckless?"
I gasped. "I can protect myself!"
"You can't!" He shouted like he was the only one frustrated.
I gritted my teeth and was about to turn my back when he grabbed my shoulders. My eyes widened, and I fell immobile when he suddenly unknotted my tie.
Questions lingered in my head as he looked at me mercilessly after untying my tie. He turned me around, holding my shoulders firmly, keeping me in place.
"What are you doing?" I tried to kick him when he tied my wrist from behind using my own tie.
