Rosaline Kai mostly called Rosa kai was a college student in her final year. She was a business administration student and also a bright student. Her mum died when she was a kid and she has been living with her dad and grandmother since then. They were from a rich background so she was very popular at school and was dating the famous player in school Davies. Everything was going well for the Kai family, Rosa was the only child so she was to inherit the Kai business not until one tragic afternoon. Rosa came home from school at usual and she met many cars parked in the house, at first she thought her dad was having a meeting with one of his business partners but then she saw the police.
" What's going on?" She asked their butler who has been with them even before she was born.
" You, you should still be in school. You shouldn't be here at all" the old man said
" Why?, tell me what's going on?"
" You should leave as soon as possible, take this. Go straight to take airport and leave for ireland now" he said
" I can't just go when I don't even know what is wrong" she said and then she saw people coming out of the house carrying something she took a peek and saw her grandma's hand drop from the stretcher. Her family bracelet was covered in blood, few moments later another corpse was brought outside and she froze on the spot. Both her grandma and dad were dead, she was about to run towards that direction when the butler held her back
" Your live is in danger here, you need to go. I promised your dad to keep you alive no matter what" the old man said
" What about you?"
" I would be fine, my job is to keep you safe for your parents. A car is waiting for you outside, the driver would take you straight to the airport. Find that address on the paper I gave to you, and don't ever come here no matter what happens. Everything you need his in the file, you new identity card and all... Just make sure you stay alive" he said
Rosa took a look at her dead family one last time and her eye met with a man dressed in black suit and she sensed really danger just by the way he looked. She didn't think twice before she took to her heels and the man sensed something was wrong. He also sprang into action, he went after her but the butler stood in front of him with a gun eventhough he knew they would be 600 other guns pointing at him. He would do whatever it takes to keep Rosa safe. Rosa looked back one more time before entering the car, this time she saw the butler on the ground covered in blood but he was till holding on the man's leg to stop him from leaving. Then the car zoomed off to the highway in full speed. Rosa heart was still breathing very fast, everything was about to go crazy. She just lost her family in one go, and now she has to run for her life. She didn't even know where she was heading to, all she knew is she had to survive. She got to the airport and was already checking in, when she saw those men in black suit again. She knew they had followed them, she ran to the ladies room to hide for a while as the searched around. As she entered the ladies room, she bumped into a lady their and their bag fell.
" Sorry" Rosa said without looking back as she took a bag and rushed In
" What Insolence?" The lady said picking the other bag from the floor and she went outside.
She was at the checking point when she noticed she mistakenly took Rosa's bag. She was heading back to the ladies room when men saw her and they immediately took her without people noticing.
" You think you can run, but you can't hide" the man in black said as they brought her to him
" What are you talking about?, who are you people?" The lady asked disgusted
" What do you think, changing clothes will not make us recognize you."
" Look, you got the wrong person. I am a respectable and famous woman in my country and you don't dare to disrespect me this way. Wait till I call my husband, then you guys are all dead" she said opening the bag then she remembered it wasn't her bag.
" Okay, you must have mistook me cause of this bag right, it's not mine. I'll show you" she said bringing out Rosa phone, she put it on just to see herself with two unfamiliar faces she hasn't seen before on the lock screen. She scan through the bag and also saw herself as the identity card but a different name.
" What's wrong?, cat caught your tongue" the man said
" Um .. I... How is this possible?" The lady asked confused
" Take her away, don't kill her yet. She might still be useful to our boss" the man said and they took her away.
Rosa was still hiding in the ladies room when her phone rang. She opened her bag and noticed it wasn't her. She picked up the phone and saw it was the caller ID was assistant Chu. She dropped the phone back and then she heard a knock on the door.
" Mrs Yu?, are you in there?" A lady asked from outside
" No" Rosa said then the phone ringed again and the lady outside sighed
" Listen mam, I know you're in there but please can you hurry up or we will be late for the party" the lady said and Rosa came out to explain but the lady just bowed her head in front of her.
" Sorry, miss" Rosa said tapping the lady's shoulder
" I'm so sorry mam, I didn't mean to speak to you that way. Please forgive me" the lady said
" It's fine, but I think you're mistaken here" Rosa said and the lady looked up surprise and she bowed again
" Can you please raise your head up?" Rosa asked and the lady did but she was still looking down
" Look, I am not your Mrs Yu. You must me mistaken, this is not my bag" she said
" We will miss the party at this rate, please can you just come with me"
" Can you please stop being formal with me, you are mistaken me for someone else" Rosa said just then her phone rang again.
She checked the caller ID and and saw it was dear hubby.
" Okay, if I'm you Mrs Yu I should be able to unlock the phone right?" Rosa asked and the girl nodded.
" But I can't" Rosa said putting her fingerprint and surprisingly it worked
" I know you don't really want to go for the party but please we need to leave"
" Listen, I don't know why it is opened but I'm Rosa.. Rosa k.." she paused remembering she couldn't trust anyone as her life was still in danger. That's when she remembered those men, she wanted to know if they were gone. She just walked past the lady and went outside and to her surprise ten other ladies were waiting for her outside.
" Mrs Yu" they all said taking a slight bow
" You got to me kidding me" Rosa cursed inside then she locked the door and went back inside to meet the lady who hasn't left her position
" Listen, i don't know who you are or what you want from me but I'm not your miss Yu"
" You are" the lady said showing her a picture of herself in a wedding dress with an handsome young man beside her.
Then she froze, before she took everything in. If she and this so called Mrs Yu were Doppler genger she could use this to her advantage to escape those men. But then she stopped, she wouldn't use someone else identity for her own selfish needs, but... She promised the butler she had to survive no matter what.
" Okay fine, let's say I'm your Mrs Yu and this man in the picture is the Mr Yu... Then what happens" she asked
" We need to fly back, so you can attend the party" the lady said
