On Alderaan Bail was helping the refugees from the Path to board their new freighter that was given to them. The remaining men that could fight had helped them get on board. Bail, and his family watched, happy that they could help, giving them fresh clothes, supplies, and many more.
Obi-Wan with his newly fresh robes had stepped in to help see everyone off, they were almost ready to take off.
Tala who was supervising outside with Quinlan Vos had turned their attention towards Kenobi.
"You sure you don't want to come?" Tala offered again, but she already knew the answer.
"Sorry my place is somewhere else"
Tala gave a slight smile, walking up to Kenobi, and gently pressing her lips on his cheek, "Maybe I'll see you soon" she said before going up to the freighter.
Quinlan, now in all new attire had gone up to his old friend, as well, saying goodbye.
"I guess, I will see you next time old friend" the two shaking hands
"Thank you again for assisting Tala in this, I know you are going to be a great leader for the Path"
Quinlan gave his signature grin, "Well I can't promise I won't stay out of trouble" the two shared a laugh before heading towards the freighter. Bail had offered for them to stay longer, but everyone agreed it's best to leave before the Empire catched on to them. The Organas, Cost, and Obi-Wan watched, as they left the planet.
Once the left the sky's, Obi-Wan turned to his former Clone Commander, "So, what are you going to do now?"
"Well, Senator Organa offered to help me round the remaking clones that had gone rogue in hopes to be apart of something more, so I will be staying for a while"
"I have to go back to my mission"
Cody sighed, hoping to pursued his friend to stay, but instead he saluted him, "Well then, I will hopefully see you soon General, thank you for giving me another chance"
"There was nothing to forgive Cody, we were all manipulated" Obi-Wan said putting a hand on his friend's shoulder. He then turned to Senator Organa.
"I arranged transport for you to leave my friend" Bail told him.
Obi-Wan gave him a warm smile. He looked down at young Leia, bending down to meet her height, "This is a goodbye little one, it was nice meeting you"
"You said you were a friend of my fathers, did you know my real parents?" Leia asking him with curiosity"
Obi-Wan didn't know what to say aside from looking into the girls eyes, "They would be proud of how brave you are little one, but unfortunately, you can't remember this for your own good"
Before Leia could respond, she suddenly fell into Obi-Wans arms. Kenobi had used a force technique that made her pass out.
"You sure that was necessary?" Bail said, taking Leia from Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan nodded his head, "I am afraid so. This isn't the time to reveal myself, but when the time is right"
"Well then I guess this is a goodbye" Bail said, shaking his hand.
"Indeed old friend, but I will see you again. Contact me if you need me"
After Obi-Wan said his goodbyes, he went to his ship that was given to him by Senator Organa, looking at his friends, who came to see him off, he took off, hoping to pretend to forget about recent events.
After arriving on Tatooine, and selling his ship for credits, Obi-Wan went back into his home, sitting down to relax.
"You made the right choice to comeback my friend"
Obi-Wan looked up to hear the voice of his old Master.
"Well if it wasn't for you on Mustafar, I probably wouldn't be able to get back up"
"What voice?" Qui-Gon asked.
Obi-Wan then realized it was from his imagination, "Never mind, but I am still needed here. If recent events taught me anything, its that this galaxy isn't safe, which means I must stay, and watch after the boy"
"Very well, my old Padawan. I sense the balance restored in you, perhaps it is time to start your training"
Obi-Wan looked with shock in his face, finally learning under his Master once again. He smiled before getting up, "Not yet, first there is one thing I have to do"
Obi-Wan came to the Lar's farm with a bag in his hand. Owen was the first one to spot him, clearly not happy. He marched up to the former Jedi to confront him.
"I told Kenobi not to come here unless Luke wasn't here.
"I came to say goodbye"
Owen was almost taken aback by this, "What?"
"Now is not the time to train him. I will be going off farther in the desert. I just wanted you to know before I leave. Goodbye Owent" he turned around, and was beginning to walk away.
When he turned, he heard Owen call his name, "Kenobi"
Obi-Wan looked surprised, wondering what was going on, he listened to Owen, as he spoke to him.
"Would you like to meet him?" Owen offered.
Obi-Wan was partly surprised, but he took the farmer's offer, so Owen had Bearu bring out the boy.
The young blond boy came up the stairs, he looked at Obi-Wan with curiosity, but never had seen him before
Luke didn't say anything, but Obi-Wan took out the toy star ship he had gotten from the store earlier. Gently he offered it to Luke. Luke was hesitant, but Owen nodded in approval. Luke took the toy before looking back at Obi-Wan, who barley got out a sentence.
Obi-Wan looked at him with pride knowing the boy had a bright future.
