Yuki graduated with the top scores of the year, and the next year began.
The first class of the year was Genjutsu theory. Kazuki knew most of it but listened attentively anyway.
After the academy, Kazuki went home and ate some nutrition bars.
He thought, 'I'm graduating next year, so I have to learn Fuinjutsu and Genjutsu, but my ninjutsu arsenal is pretty bad because I don't have any good defensive jutsu. I should learn jutsu from elements other than Fire Release too.'
Kazuki made a shadow clone with 40% of his chakra and sent it to the library to take notes on some important D-rank elemental jutsu other than Fire Release and to get a book on Fuinjutsu too.
He thought, 'There is a ninja keeping an eye on me, most probably a Root ninja. There was that one time when I sensed his chakra field sensing me, but it vanished instantly after I noticed. Now that I'm a sensor, he can't sense me without me noticing, so I can use shadow clones without any risk.'
He then picked up a balloon, filled it with air, held it between his hands, and started focusing his chakra on it. The balloon shook slightly before calming down.
Kazuki jumped in joy, "I DID IT! I FREAKING DID IT!"
He thought, 'Finally, after so many tries, I completed the third step of Rasengan. I was already able to do it with the help of a shadow clone using the trick Naruto used, but I wanted to master it with just one hand, and God, it was tough. Now let's make the real thing.'
Kazuki focused chakra for a few seconds, and a concentrated ball of spinning chakra appeared in his hand.
He thought, 'So cool. No matter how many times I look at it, it's just so cool. I wonder how cool Chidori would be. I personally like Chidori more than Rasengan.'
After that, Kazuki sat in a meditative posture and began his sensory training. His chakra field had now grown to 100 meters.
After his sensory practice, he made a shadow clone with the lowest amount of chakra and dispersed it, sending a message to his library clone to return with the book.
As his clone started walking toward home, Kazuki began practicing the Transformation Jutsu with his shadow clones.
After his clone returned, Kazuki dispelled it, receiving its memories and the scroll with the notes on the jutsu.
Kazuki read the scroll for a bit, then made a shadow clone with 30% of his chakra and left for the forest as the clone began reading the book on Fuinjutsu.
Kazuki reached the forest clearing after a few minutes.
He practiced shurikenjutsu for half an hour and Kenjutsu for an hour.
Then he opened the scroll and thought, 'There weren't many D-rank jutsu, but I still got some useful ones. The first jutsu I'm going to learn is Earth Release: Earth Plate. This jutsu is just a downgraded version of Mud Wall, which is a B-rank jutsu. It creates a small wall in front of the user that can protect them from projectiles and small jutsu.'

He made some hand signs and slammed his hand on the ground. A very thin and small wall of muddy earth appeared in front of him and collapsed. Kazuki had to move with speed of light to get away from it.
Kazuki trained on this jutsu nonstop for more than one hour and returned home by 8 PM. He ate some cup noodles and nutrition bars.
He thought, 'I'm so bored with this plain food. It sucks that I didn't learn any cooking in my previous world other than noodles.'
Kazuki's eyes widened slightly as an idea popped into his head. 'I have the Shadow Clone Jutsu. I can learn cooking by making a clone. Let's do this tomorrow. I have plenty of money saved up, around 14,000 Ryo.'
Kazuki thought, 'Now it's time to see what my shadow clone learned about Fuinjutsu.'
Kazuki dispelled his Fuinjutsu Shadow Clone, and a flood of information poured into his head, it felt like the day he was transmigrated into this world and gave him a mild headache.
Kazuki smiled as he thought, 'I think I can become a great Fuinjutsu user. It works similarly to coding in my previous world, just with different characters. While forming a seal, we use different characters in either odd or even numbers, and if we merge seals that are both even or odd, it increases the power of the seal. But if we merge two seals where one is odd and the other is even, it decreases the power of the seal. There's much more depth to it. I'll have to read more to fully understand it.'
After that, Kazuki went to sleep.
The next day, while returning home, Kazuki bought a small stove and a mini gas cylinder, both for 3,500 Ryo, some cheap utensils for 1,000 Ryo, a cooking book for 500 Ryo, and some other cooking supplies for 500 Ryo.
When he returned home, he followed his usual routine but made two shadow clones instead of one.
When he returned home from training at night, some half-burned rice balls and miso soup, enough to feed five people, were waiting for him.
Kazuki said, "Why the hell did you make this much? Aghh, I can't even blame you; it's like blaming myself."
Kazuki began eating while his clones watched him like hungry dogs.
Kazuki said, "It's not bad. Good job, chef clone." Kazuki gave him the classic Might Guy smile and a thumbs-up.
After eating, Kazuki said, "Okay, now I'm ready for the headache."
He dispersed both clones, and the headache was more severe this time.
After three days, Kazuki completed the book on Fuinjutsu, and his clone began practicing the symbols by writing them on the scrolls he got from the Senju compound with a paintbrush.
After twelve more days, Kazuki was able to perform the Earth Plate Jutsu correctly.
He then started learning Earth Release: Stone Shuriken Jutsu, which he was able to learn in a week.
