Both Yuki and Keiko took their stances.
Keiko said, "No hard feelings, alright?"
Yuki nodded.
Ryuma said, "3, 2, 1, Start!"
Keiko flickered forward while Yuki jumped backward, making one hand sign.
'Wind Release: Great Breakthrough.'
Immense wind burst from Yuki's mouth, aimed at Keiko with much greater force than Kazuki's Breakthrough.
Keiko wove some hand signs and slammed her hand on the ground.
'Earth Release: Earth Plate Jutsu.'
A small wall of stone appeared in front of her, blocking all the wind.
Keiko flickered past the wall and closed the distance between them, only to see two Yuki instead of one.
She engaged in a taijutsu clash with both of them at the same time.
Keiko was able to perfectly block Yuki's every punch with the help of her Byakugan.
After a few seconds, Keiko suddenly jumped backward, and Yuki emerged from the ground where Keiko had been standing a second ago.
She said, "Your trick failed, and now you're in my range."
She took a stance.
'Gentle Fist Art: Eight Trigrams Four Palms.'
Keiko rapidly struck two tenketsu points on Yuki's chest, then four more in succession.
A puff of smoke appeared, and Yuki's body suddenly disappeared, revealing it was only a shadow clone.
Keiko's eyes widened as she turned around, but it was already too late. Yuki's original body punched the ground so hard that cracks appeared where Keiko was standing.
Keiko fell from the impact. When she looked up, there was already a kunai at her neck.
Yuki said, "I win."
Keiko clenched her jaw and said, "Damn it! You deliberately put more of your chakra in your clone to confuse me into thinking it was your real body. I should have expected that. You're just too amazing, Yuki."
Yuki said, "You were amazing too, Keiko. You fought against me and my clone at the same time. If it was purely a taijutsu fight, you would have won easily."
Ryuma came forward, almost running. "When did you master the Hyuga clan's special technique, Eight Trigrams Four Palms? You were just amazing, Keiko."
Keiko turned her face away and blushed before saying, "I haven't mastered it yet, idiot."
Kazuki joined the conversation. "Both of you were amazing—Keiko's taijutsu and Yuki's battle IQ. You two must be a great team, but I want to see what Ryuma can do."
After a few minutes of using Earth Release to fill the cracks in the ground, Yuki said, "Alright, let's start the second round. Ready, Kazuki, Ryuma?"
Both of them nodded.
Kazuki thought as he unsheathed the sword Akihiko had given him, 'Alright, time to see how much I've learned.'
Both took their Kenjutsu stances.
Yuki said, "3, 2, 1, Start."
Both used Body Flicker and clashed their blades, competing in Kenjutsu. Apparently, they were equal in Kenjutsu.
Kazuki thought, 'He's a year younger than me, and his taijutsu is still so good, but I'm not going to lose because now I'm used to winning.'
Ryuma said, "You're better than I expected, Kazuki, so now I'm not going to hold anything back, you should do the same."
Ryuma began swinging his sword faster than before, and Kazuki was unable to keep up with his movements.
Kazuki thought, 'He's got me on the defensive. I have to do something fast. I can't do Stone Plate Jutsu without hand signs yet. I'll have to do this quickly. I should have learned one-handed signs.'
As Ryuma was about to hit Kazuki's blade, Kazuki ducked and released his blade, then quickly formed two hand signs before slamming his hands on the ground.
'Earth Release: Earth Plate Jutsu.'
A small but wide wall of stone appeared between them, separating Kazuki from Ryuma.
Kazuki quickly created distance between them.
Ryuma said, "Throwing your sword like that? A swordsman shouldn't disrespect his sword."
Kazuki said, "No offence but I'm here to win, not to follow someone else's standards of respect."
Kazuki made a hand sign and used Shadow Clone Jutsu twice to create two shadow clones, each containing 20% of his current chakra. Both flickered toward Ryuma with kunai in hand.
Kazuki made some hand signs.
'Earth Release: Stone Shuriken Jutsu.'
Several stone shuriken flew toward Ryuma. He dodged most of them while countering both of Kazuki's clones. Some shuriken grazed him, leaving small cuts on his body.
Kazuki slammed his hands on the ground.
'Fire Release: Flame Ring Jutsu.'
Flames appeared around Ryuma, surrounding him and Kazuki's clones in a ring.
Ryuma sliced through both of Kazuki's clones.
'Fire Release: Fireball Jutsu.'
Kazuki unleashed a fireball at Ryuma. In return, Ryuma made some hand signs.
'Water Release: Water Bomb Jutsu.'
Ryuma sent a large amount of water toward Kazuki's fireball. Both clashed, the fire ball vanished but the water jutsu was still heading toward Kazuki.
Kazuki had already expected that, having made hand signs for Stone Plate Jutsu.
'Earth Release: Stone Plate Jutsu.'
The already slowed-down water clashed with the wall and stopped.
Ryuma thought, panting, 'Just how much chakra does he have?'
'Fire Release: Heat Wave Jutsu.'
Kazuki used as much chakra as he could to make this jutsu very strong. A large wave of heat surged toward Ryuma. In return, he made some hand signs.
'Water Release: Water Spurt Jutsu.'
Ryuma released a small amount of water toward Kazuki, which was useless against an AOE attack.
Ryuma was about to be hit by the jutsu when he raised his hand and said, "I give up."
A large wall of mud appeared in front of Ryuma, saving him from the Heat Wave.
Kazuki also disabled his Flame Ring Jutsu.
The wall was formed by Yuki as she stepped forward. "Are you two okay? Both of you went too far. It was supposed to be just a normal spar."
Keiko rushed toward Ryuma, worry visible on her face as she approached him and said, "Are you okay, Ryuma? Do you have any injuries?"
Ryuma smiled and said, "No, just some small cuts. No need to worry about me."
Keiko looked away with embarrassment and said, "Like I would ever worry about you, idiot."
Kazuki went near Ryuma and said, "Sorry, I went overboard."
Ryuma stood up and said, "No, there's no reason for you to apologize. It was me who said we should go all out, and besides, it was fun. Let's do this again sometime."
Kazuki said, "Sure."
Yuki said, "Hey, don't forget our spar, Kazuki."
Kazuki waved his hand dismissively and said, "No way, I'm almost out of chakra."
Yuki pouted and said, "That's not fair. I wanted to fight you too."
Kazuki thought, 'Should I do it? It would be cringe, but I can't stop myself. Okay, I'm doing this.'
Kazuki went near Yuki, pressed two fingers gently against her forehead, and said, "Maybe next time."
Yuki blushed slightly and said, "What was that? Alright, but next time, I'm going to spar with you, so you better be ready."
