In the endless sea of bodies and bloodshed a faint sob can be heard, a young boy no older then 10 was heard as he clung deceased mother's arm the cold body was starting to rot as flies have started circling the dead lady. he was calling out. "Mother! Mother!" in broken sobs as footsteps from the soldiers from the Eastern kingdom were approaching after they had pillaged and plunged the lives of his sacred village of the mythical bird. he remembered what his mother had told him before she had died hours ago. "Fenyra, don't be afraid to run my child, you hold the egg of our lord Phoenix you need to escape." he heard footsteps inch closer to his house house and he desperately ran for the window for escape, his village was poor yet happy and lived by a ritual where they summoned the Phoenix to bless them with a warm gentle flame that would cleanse them of their disease and boosted their longevity, each time he felt it since childbirth he loved how his body reacted, but now they were all deceased because the wicked tyrant King, who took over the Eastern kingdom and prevented the ritual from occurring after learning of its flames and blessing he wanted only himself and the nobles and royals to possess this blessing, Fenyra quickly bolted out of the house into the dense jungle of his village, he clung onto the last piece of the phoenix, its egg, he clutched it tight in his own chest despite his clothes being torn and shredded as he knew the importance of the egg despite being only 10 years old, hastily he made his way to the dark jungle but when he turned to his right, 90 degrees, he saw it, his beloved dire wolf on the floor dead he felt his chest clench so much he could barely breath but kept running, he never knew, as he entered the jungle if he could ever see his parents again, he was so hungry thirsty and looked like he was going to perish, he tripped on a tree root and fell but never gave up he desperately tried to get up to evacuate further but his leg was done, torn muscles and abused body had made his leg gave in, as the rain started he felt his consciousness slipping away, before he heard a voice, seemingly from a old guy, "Take a nap now kiddo." was the last thing Fenyra heard before his exhaustion took over and his eyelid fell but his instinct caused him to fall on his side to protect the Phoenix egg.
