Suddenly, the golden ground rippled like a fluid, enveloping Aeridar and pulling him into the earth.
"Nani?!"
This sudden turn of events stunned Redfield, who had been about to kill Aeridar.
"Well done! Nice work!" Doflamingo let out a slight sigh of relief.
They were already at a disadvantage, and if one of them died, the remaining two would surely die as well. The only difference would be how soon.
This showed the clear power dynamic. Tesoro was the weakest of the three, while Aeridar and Doflamingo were on par with each other. Thus, they were the main attackers, with Tesoro providing support.
However, Doflamingo was the most experienced in combat and therefore difficult to defeat, but Aeridar was extremely dangerous due to his speed, attack power, and ability to fly. This is why Redfield had targeted Aeridar first.
Dozens of meters away, the ground rippled again and a figure emerged from beneath the surface.
"Phew... I really owe you one. I almost died." Aeridar wiped his mouth, his gaze fixed on Redfield with a fierce intensity.
"Hmph. You won't be so lucky next time." Redfield snorted, his expression growing grim.
"There won't be a next time!"
Aeridar stomped his foot, shattering the ground beneath him as he shot forward like a bullet, leaving behind a trail of cracks.
"Fuffuffuffufu!"
Doflamingo laughed maniacally, spreading his arms and charging forward as well.
Clang, clang, clang…
Clang, clang, clang…
Boom, boom, boom…
The three of them plunged into an intense battle, their figures intertwining. Crimson slashes, visible shockwaves, and razor-sharp threads… all erupted in a chaotic sequence, utterly destroying their surroundings.
Whoosh!
Aeridar lunged forward, throwing a powerful punch that whistled through the air.
BOOM!
Redfield jabbed his long umbrella forward, meeting Aeridar's fist head-on and releasing a powerful burst of air pressure.
At that moment, Doflamingo leaped into the air, his hands like claws as ten nearly invisible, crystalline strings crisscrossed in the air.
"Hm?!"
Redfield's expression shifted. He instantly became a red blur and sped away from his spot.
Clang! Slice!
The next second, a nearby building was sliced apart and collapsed, kicking up a cloud of smoke.
"Golden Divine Fire!"
The golden giant stared at the three fighters, its right eye widening. A laser beam, similar to one from Kizaru, shot out of its eye.
Rumble!
Flames shot into the sky as the laser blasted a crater more than ten meters in diameter into the ground.
"You annoying pest!"
Redfield impatiently turned his head and swung his long umbrella.
Whoosh!
A sword-slash resembling a beam of blood shot out.
"Golden Karma!"
Seeing this, Tesoro manipulated the Golden Giant, a gauntlet forming on its fist as it threw a punch. The gauntleted fist created a hot, powerful wind as it tore through the air.
Clang!
The blood-red sword-slash struck the Golden Giant's fist. They held their ground for a moment, sparks flying in the air between them. Tesoro suddenly put more power into his attack, knocking the slash off course.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The crimson sword-slash sliced through three buildings in a row, then traveled another hundred meters before it completely vanished.
CRACK!
The three buildings split apart from the top down and fell to the sides, the ground shaking as they hit and kicking up more smoke.
"Shatter!"
Redfield leaped into the air, transforming his umbrella into a sword as he brought it down in a powerful slash.
Slice!
A bloody, crimson slash appeared, instantly severing the Golden Giant's right arm from its shoulder.
Rumble!
The massive golden arm crashed to the ground, shaking the earth.
"No!"
Tesoro was shocked. He hadn't expected his Golden Giant to be so vulnerable to Redfield, who had cut off its arm with a single attack.
"Ah… I found you!"
A cold smile tugged at the corner of Redfield's mouth as he stood in the air, having used Geppo to remain afloat.
"Oh no!"
Inside the Golden Giant, Tesoro's heart skipped a beat, and a thin layer of sweat broke out on his forehead. Sensing that something was wrong, Tesoro immediately manipulated the Golden Giant, whose right eye widened again, firing another laser.
However, Redfield used Geppo to change direction, easily dodging the laser.
Rumble!
The laser hit the ground, again igniting a pillar of fire and creating another crater more than ten meters wide. But the brief delay was all Aeridar and Doflamingo needed. They shot into the air, flying up to Redfield's side to flank him.
"Palm Shock Slash!"
Aeridar formed a vertical blade with his hand and delivered a powerful slash.
"Pentachromatic Strings!"
Doflamingo formed a claw with his hand, and five thin strings shot out from his fingertips, cutting toward Redfield.
"You annoying insects!"
Redfield was enraged. He spread his arms, and a bloody light radiated from his body.
BOOM!
The conflicting forces erupted at once, shaking the air. Black and red lightning burst forth again, twisting and turning like snakes in the sky. Simultaneously, a distorted ripple swept out, causing a violent tremor that radiated with the force of the clash.
In the air, Redfield used his right hand and long umbrella to block Doflamingo's Pentachromatic Strings. His left arm, now black with Armament Haki, parried Aeridar's Palm Shock Slash.
"Two guys with Conqueror's Haki! How interesting! How entertaining! Now get out of my way!" Redfield snarled and kicked out twice in a flash, striking both Aeridar and Doflamingo in the gut.
Thud! Thud!
With two dull thuds, both Aeridar and Doflamingo doubled over and were sent flying backward.
"You bastard! Golden Karma!"
The Golden Giant, now missing an arm, attacked again. Its left arm swelled up and became encased in a golden gauntlet.
"I'll take your other arm too!" Redfield stomped his foot, flying up, as his umbrella blade erupted with a crimson aura.
CLANG!
The golden, armored fist and Redfield passed each other in the air, a flash of sparks between them.
BOOM!
The armored, golden fist shattered, exploding into pieces of gold that rained down from the sky.
"Now for your head!"
Redfield roared, stomping his foot again. He transformed his umbrella into a sword, and a massive crimson aura burst forth.
"NO!"
Inside the Golden Giant, Tesoro was drenched in cold sweat, his face filled with dread.
Whoosh!
Slice!
The immense crimson aura flashed past, instantly slicing off the Golden Giant's head. It also continued onward, passing through the entire hotel before finally disappearing.
The Golden Giant's upper head slid off, the cut smooth and clean. Inside, Tesoro knelt, pale, a trail of blood seeping from his mouth. A sword wound ran from his left shoulder to his chest, still dripping blood.
"Cough… cough… I almost… died…"
