Chapter 402 - Chapter 403: A Major Conflict — All Sides Join Forces

"Dammit… cough..."

From the ruins of a tall building, Aeridar got to his feet, clutching his stomach. When he saw that the Golden Giant had its head sliced in half, he grew anxious and shouted to the other side of the battlefield: "Doffy! Don't hold back!"

Two hundred meters away, Doflamingo was sprawled in a crater. Hearing Aeridar's familiar voice, a few veins popped out on his forehead and a sinister grin spread across his face.

"Fuffuffuffufu! You're right, we can't hold back now! Otherwise, we'll all die!"

"Then I'll borrow your turf, Tesoro!"

The next moment, the golden ground beneath Doflamingo turned to white, and even the nearby buildings followed suit, transforming from shimmering gold into soft, white threads. In just a few breaths, the white threads covered the entire area.

String-String Fruit: Awakening!

Suddenly, the white ground surged. Tens of thousands of transparent, white threads rose up in a massive, horizontal white wave, rushing toward Redfield in the sky as if to consume him.

Ever White!

"Is that… Awakening?!"

Just as Redfield was preparing to finish off Tesoro with his next sword strike, he noticed the commotion below. He looked down and saw the giant white wave composed of countless threads charging toward him.

"This sea is getting more and more interesting. I think I'm starting to see eye to eye with Roger!"

A twisted smile appeared on Redfield's face, his eyes filled with bloodlust. "So be it! Let me finish you off with everything I have! Crimson Red: Bloodstained!"

With a roar, Redfield turned. A red light glowed behind him, a coppery, bloody stench filling the air. He thrust his long umbrella forward, and a vivid, crimson blood light burst forth.

BOOM!

The blood-light flared, instantly scattering the giant white wave and continuing its path toward Doflamingo.

"Impressive! Impressive! Fuffuffuffufu!"

Doflamingo cackled, waving his hands. The white ground rippled like waves on the sea, and a dozen more massive white waves, each made of thousands of threads, rose up. They surrounded Redfield like a giant tide, rushing in to crush him.

Giant Ever White!

Surprisingly, Doflamingo made no attempt to defend himself against the crimson blood-light heading his way.

But at that moment, a figure flashed in front of him.

"Let me break it!"

Aeridar raised his right arm, his fingers clenched into a fist. His muscles bulged, and veins stood out on his arm. In the next instant, Aeridar unleashed a punch.

Impact Cannon!

Whoosh!

The air instantly churned, creating a powerful gale in a hundred-meter radius. A massive airflow, like a hurricane, compressed the surrounding air into a pale white, translucent cylinder that extended outward like a massive elephant foot.

Rumble!

The dazzling white and crimson lights collided, causing a cataclysmic explosion. A subsequent storm of air pressure swept through, carrying countless people and trees, and even toppling buildings. A hurricane of force raged across half of Gran Tesoro.

"Oh my god! A storm! This is a natural disaster!"

"Damn it! Are they all monsters?!"

"Monsters! They're all monsters!"

"Help! Someone, help me! Please save me!"

The roaring wind filled their ears as countless people desperately grabbed onto anything solid, but many were still swept away by the catastrophic storm.

Clang, clang, clang…

When the storm dissipated, Redfield was seen using Geppo to weave through the air, dodging the assault of the giant white waves. His long umbrella, wielded like a sword, displayed the masterful swordsmanship of a Great Swordsman. With a single strike, a crimson sword-slash erupted, instantly severing the giant white wave.

"Come on!"

Aeridar roared, unleashing a powerful burst of Conqueror's Haki as his body shot into the air like lightning, charging toward Redfield from the top of the Gran Tesoro hotel.

"Perorin~ Three Devil Fruit users, two of whom have awakened their powers. They really are monsters!" Big Mom's Minister of Candy, Charlotte Perospero, extended his long tongue with a wicked grin.

"And two of them even have Conqueror's Haki. No wonder the World Government is so eager to recruit them," said Charlotte Oven, the Minister of Browned Food, his face grim.

"An old man still has this much power! Should I say... as expected of a man of legend?!" Jack, one of the Three Disasters, muttered to himself.

Though arrogant, he knew that the power displayed by Aeridar, Doflamingo, and Tesoro was on par with his own. One might be slightly stronger or weaker than the other, but the difference was minimal.

Yet, three of these powerhouses were being suppressed by a man in his sixties or seventies—his strength was unbelievably immense.

"Such exquisite swordsmanship! I'm itching to get in on this!" Oliver gripped his sword, Nagamitsu, his face filled with excitement as he watched Redfield's powerful display.

"Damn it… he's so strong!" Betilla bit her lower lip, her expression sour.

"We absolutely cannot let Redfield get the Vigor-Vigor Fruit. Never." The white-suited man, a suspected World Government agent, a male named Oz Widwen, spoke with a ruthless glint in his eyes. "We must stall for time until the Marines arrive, or all will be lost."

"Everyone, you don't want to see Redfield the Red get the Vigor-Vigor Fruit, do you?" Ben Beckman turned and asked.

"What do you mean?" Jack stared at Ben Beckman, asking with a deep, booming voice.

"Our strengths are all similar. We can compete for it under the rules." Ben Beckman's eyes held a glint of intelligence as he slowly said, "However, if that lone Redfield defeats those three and gets the Vigor-Vigor Fruit, we won't have a chance to get it."

"Are you suggesting we all attack at once?!" The white-suited man asked, his voice filled with doubt. While he was ready to fight, he was prepared to die. But if so many pirates joined forces, perhaps even the Redfield the Red couldn't withstand them.

"Exactly. What do you all think?" Ben Beckman nodded, admitting his intention, and asked directly.

"Perorin~ A battle against a legend! How interesting." Perospero's face twisted into a look of amusement.

"I'm in!" Jack agreed without hesitation.

"I, Oz Widwen, guarantee it on behalf of the World Government. Let's all attack together, everyone!" Oz Widwen, the white-suited man, dramatically threw his white velvet coat onto the ground.

"Ah… I can't wait!" Oliver let out a crazed, sinister laugh.
