Chapter 400 - Chapter 401: The Powerful "Red the Aloof"

"Fuffuffuffuf, how surprising!"

Doflamingo, manipulating nearly invisible strings, propelled himself to the top of the giant golden statue, standing level with Tesoro.

Whoosh!

A fierce gust of wind swept by.

"I didn't expect you had that up your sleeve."

Aeridar appeared, looking a bit battered, a trickle of blood at the corner of his mouth. He hovered beside Doflamingo, then curiously eyed the massive golden titan, his tone laced with surprise.

"Two flying opponents... this is a bit troublesome!"

Standing on the golden giant's massive arm, Redfield looked up at the sky, his brows furrowed.

There are very few people in the world who can fly, especially at the level of a top-tier powerhouse. The fact that he had run into two of them today meant it wouldn't be easy to stop them.

"Do... Doflamingo! Heavenly Yaksha Doflamingo! What is he doing?"

"Tha... that's Golden Ring Aeridar!"

"What's that golden giant? A Devil Fruit user?"

"The power to control gold! That golden giant is Gild Tesoro!"

"Oh my god... Red the Aloof, Patrick Redfield!"

"These monsters are starting a war here! Do they want to sink this place?"

As the fighting briefly paused and the crowd saw the standoff, they immediately recognized the combatants, and their faces were filled with dread.

These were all monstrously powerful individuals, including a legendary figure. Their combined strength was enough to wipe out almost any country in the world.

At this moment, inside the auction house, many of the stronger individuals like Jack, Perospero, and Oliver all rushed to the broken wall, watching the standoff with grim expressions.

They even secretly wished for Aeridar and his allies to win. If the trio were defeated, the New World would fall into chaos, and their own organizations would be severely impacted.

But Redfield was different. Although a legend, he had always acted alone with few subordinates or affiliations. If he were to be defeated or killed, it wouldn't have a serious practical effect on the New World.

Furthermore, if Redfield managed to seize the Vigor-Vigor Fruit, they would have no chance of getting it themselves.

"Do you three little brats really think you can beat me just by teaming up?" Redfield sneered, his eyes filled with disdain.

"Well... who knows?"

Aeridar shrugged, a sinister smirk on his face.

"Fuffuffuffufu... Redfield-san, I'm just here to hold you off. I'd never dream of defeating you." Doflamingo grinned, his ten fingers pulling on his invisible strings.

Thump!

"Let me show you the power of a god!"

Tesoro had the golden giant slam its hands together, creating a muffled sound. Then, with a raised right arm, the giant's forearm swelled up and became armored.

"Golden Karma!"

Whoosh!

With a roaring gust of wind, the golden giant swung its newly armored right arm, delivering a punch.

Rumble!

A violent explosion and a surge of flames obliterated everything within a hundred-meter radius. The ground shook violently, cracking open and spreading fissures in all directions. The intense gale transformed into a hurricane, and the astonishing shockwave sent people and trees flying.

"I told you, you're too slow!"

Redfield sprinted along the golden giant's arm, his coat fluttering and snapping in the fierce wind.

"What about me?"

Aeridar suddenly appeared in front of Redfield, blocking his path. He raised his right leg and swept it out in a whip kick.

The kick was incredibly fast and sharp, turning into a black blur that nearly ripped through the air as it aimed straight for Redfield's head.

Bang!

Redfield blocked the whip kick with his long umbrella. A powerful vortex of air immediately erupted between them, creating a shockwave that swept outwards in all directions. It was mixed with a reddish-black substance that crackled like lightning.

"A clash of Conqueror's Haki! Hahaha... You're interesting, but still a little short!"

Redfield used the strength of his single arm to push Aeridar back.

He then leaped backward, and the very next moment, a thick, fiery red string shot down from the sky, piercing the exact spot he had been standing. It went straight through the golden giant's entire arm and left a crater in the ground.

Tesoro quickly had the golden giant retract its arm, and Redfield landed back on the ground.

"Now I'll return the favor!"

Redfield held the umbrella like a sword and thrust it forward.

A flash of crimson light burst forth as a blood-red sword beam shot into the sky.

Doflamingo, who was flying downward, saw the swift, sharp sword beam, and his expression turned serious. Unwilling to meet it head-on, he used his strings to shift his body to the side.

The crimson sword beam sliced past Doflamingo and struck the golden giant's chest.

Splorch!

Like a hot knife through butter, the crimson sword beam first pierced the giant's chest, then tore straight through the entire Golden Emperor hotel behind it, flying off into the distance until it vanished from everyone's sight.

"That monster!"

Inside the golden giant, Tesoro was drenched in a cold sweat. He quickly manipulated the gold to repair the holes in the giant's arm and chest.

"Athlete!"

Doflamingo lunged forward, appearing in front of Redfield. The tips of his pointed dress shoes were connected to eight almost transparent, thread-like strings.

Zing!

An air bubble rippled out from the ground, visible to the naked eye. Redfield raised his umbrella, blocking Doflamingo's kick.

Just then, Aeridar suddenly appeared in the air above Redfield and thrust his palm downward, causing a ripple in the air.

Whoosh!

In an instant, Redfield vanished from his spot.

Pop!

With a soft sound, a bottomless, perfectly round hole appeared on the ground where Redfield had just been.

"Look out above!"

Doflamingo seemed to sense something and looked up, shouting a warning.

"What?"

Aeridar was shocked in mid-air. Before he could react, a red figure appeared on his back, and a knee smashed into him.

Rumble!

A sharp pain shot through his back. Aeridar was struck with such force that he immediately coughed up blood. His body slammed into the ground, leaving a perfect human-shaped crater.

"Die!"

Kneeling on Aeridar's back, Redfield held his long umbrella like a sword, aiming to stab Aeridar in the head.

"Damn you... don't you dare!"

Doflamingo was both shocked and enraged. He immediately raised his hand, and more than a dozen strings shot from his palm. They twisted together to form a sharp whip, which flew with great speed toward Redfield.

Overwhip!

"Hmm?"

Redfield's eyebrows shot up. He twisted his long umbrella and aimed the tip directly at the head of the whip.

Clang!

With a powerful force, the umbrella struck the whip and effortlessly scattered Doflamingo's attack.
