Silver.
My fists clenched as I watched Ashley exit the door. My heart boiled in anger as I recalled all she had said earlier.
"I will teach you a lesson you will never forget in your next life." I muttered, as I thought of various ways to unleash my anger on her.
"Why that mood? Why act as if someone stole from you?" Raymond asked, searching my eyes.
"That girl has bitten more than she can chew. It's high time she knows her place." I yelled, at the same time mapping out an agenda to carry out on her.
"And how do you intend to do that?" He asked, curiosity wearing him like a crown.
"Why do you care?" I raged in anger, gazing down at him.
"I just want to know and also to make sure that no one risks their lives in the process." He lamented, a whimsical look in his eyes.
"So you still care for her." I grated skeptically
"I'm just protecting you." He answered.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I whispered, touching his face and bringing it closer to look at me. "Is it a YES or NO answer?"
"No, I don't care for her anymore. I only said that so that you would be on a safer side." He pouted.
"I don't care how it's gonna be. It might be brutal. You might as well be involved to make it more interesting, you know."
"Babe, I don't like the angle this is taking." He said, soberly. "We've hurt her in so many ways."
"If I may ask, in what way have we dealt with her?" I thundered, irritatingly.
"You pushed me into getting married to you instead of her. You are also planning to make the company dismiss her from her job. Is that not too much?" He yammered.
"I want her to feel much more pain, Raymond." I spat. "You should be grateful that I accepted to marry you."
"Why don't we just let her be?" He pleaded.
"This is someone who goes around sleeping with various men. And she planned on getting married to that old man without your notice." I howled.
"If not for me, you would have been heartbroken by now. You know I was close to her then. And now that I brought it to your notice, we are together, living happily."
"What would I have done without you my queen." He grinned.
I cupped his eyes and smiled lavishly at him, "my love, leave all these to me, I will play safely and smartly. It would be funny to watch."
He held my waist and kissed me on my lips, "you are always full of drama and tactics. There is never a dull moment with you. I'm right behind you and for Ashley, she will learn."
"Ah.. ahh… I laughed out loud, I can't wait to see her begging on her knees baby."
"Who would have known that she is a snake crawling about. I can't believe she was gonna choose that old man because of money." He bawled
"Well, that's her loss. What matters right now, is that you are stuck with me forever. Ah ah.." I couldn't help but laugh and placed my hand on his dick which had bulged out.
"Yes darling, you are my lucky charm." He said confidently.
"I can't wait to have this in between my legs tonight." I moaned, rubbing his bulging dick.
"Who else owns it if not you." He pouted.
"Are you sure?" I asked intentionally.
"Of course." He replied.
"Alright, I will go see my uncle now. It seems he has some information for me." I declared.
"Okay, I will be leaving for my office shortly."
I can't believe that Raymond is such a dumb ass, but anyways I'm here to manage him. If I see someone more higher in class and fucking rich, I would dump him.
Raymond.
I stood helplessly watching her leave the office. This woman is too sweet and knows how to make me yearn for her.
Where had she been all those times I was with Ashley. Although I have seen her countless times with her friend, I wasn't aware she could be this thrilling.
Ashley doesn't even allow me to touch her which I accepted because I loved her so much. But why will she be planning marriage with someone else without telling me not even a sign.
If not for Silver, I would have married her thinking she loved me. I have sacrificed so much for her. What else does she want? I thought to myself.
Silver has been making some moves towards me but I wasn't into her. She wasn't my kind of woman. Ashley was far way better than her, both in character and physique.
Not until, some days before our wedding, Silver let the cat out of the bag. My mind flashed back to the event that happened some months ago.
"Hello Raymond. Can I come in?" Silver said, wearing a beautiful smile on her face.
I raised my head from the files I was working on to see who was talking to me. She was wearing a provocative dress. "Yes, you can come in."
"It seems you are busy." She said, putting her buttocks on the seat opposite me.
"Yes, I am." I replied. "How may I help you?"
She stretched her hands towards me, rubbing my fingers which were placed on the table.
"There is something I'm meaning to tell you. It's something delicate." She said, gazing into my eyes.
"And what is it?" I asked, staring at her.
"It's about your fiance, my best friend Ashley." She bemoaned.
"What about her?" I asked curious.
She stood up from her seat and walked seductively towards me, she placed her hands on my shoulders, "this is not something I will spill out here. If you want to know what I'm about to tell you, come to my place of humble abode."
"See you some other time." And with that she left my office. Ever since she left, I have been thinking of what she had said.
